Years ago maybe 20 or so a heli was parked down from this run, Turned out 2 English boys died hitting their heads on some rocks, One doen't forget. Helmets might have made all the difference. Wear one always people. You might save your families some grief.
I was feeling brave so I tried this run, even getting to it from the lift to the top of the run so basically from 0:53 to 1:03 in this video was putting a-lot of people of with massive moguls I went in a huge snow year the fence on left at 1:03 was only few inches tall. Already scary getting there but i got there just to the top skiing moguls that big is just next level for me way to hard with only 4 weeks skiing practice to my name. Anyway cocky me thinking i can ski anything got down to about where he is at 1:10 and i was sure I would fall and die or fall to the bottom easily one of the most scared I’ve even been in my life I know it was impossible for me to have the ability to ski those moguls, very humbling and made me realise I wasn’t as good as I thought. This is way steeper in real life and these videos never do it justice but once i was sure I would seriously injure my self if I continued i made the decision to just climb back up the mountain taking my skis of was absolutely terrifying and i used them as a climbing tool to get out of there felt like it took an hour just to climb back to the lift at 0:50 but yea im massively illiterate and can’t really explain my story to the fullest extent but absolutely fair play to anyone who can ski this on bad moguls. To note as-well the entrance into the slope from 0:53 is actually laughable to how bad it was the day i was their.
Fin mars 2012, le grand couloir avec sa neige de printemps (donc glacée sur l’arête et bosses bien creusées ensuite) m’avait paru beaucoup plus difficile que le mur suisse. Le mur suisse n’est impressionnant que vu d’en haut. Lorsque l’on s’engage, c’est une piste très large avec des bosses régulières qu’un bon skieur peut descendre à son rythme en toute serenite. Le grand couloir, c’est d’abord une arrête très étroite avec precipice mortel des deux côtés (de memoire pas de filets...). La quasi totalité des surfeurs déchaussaient pour marcher ou faisaient ce passage sur les fesses, en ski le dérapage restait la meilleure solution et seuls quelques excellents skieurs s’en dispensaient. Ensuite, il y a un petit passage pas trop difficile. Et après place à la pente très très raide, avec bosses très creusées dans un passage étroit encadré par deux façades rocheuses où l’on comprend que toute prise de vitesse non maîtrisée devient illico d’une rare dangerosité. La fin de la piste est plus accessible.
Très bien expliqué je sais pas si tu as écrit ça une minute après la piste (peut être même sur la piste qui sait 😂) ou que tu l à faire plein de fois mais bien joué
