Can I ask how do you find this content, I'm trying to find the BBC TV series called "Hidden Gardens" from 2003 but have had no luck in finding any video content anywhere online.
Watson has long been my favorite author, but moreovery, my teacher. I've experienced many seemingly "unbelievable phenomnaa. I credit being an open-minded skeptic. Neither a debunker or a true-believer. I do not always accept "convention," or waht I consider to be our consensus reality. That box is to limiting. I'm 88 years old, legally blind, and am not yet finished being open to new esperinces. What concerns me is that I'm not open enough. We need Lyall wtson to enable us to wake up. Many thanks for this interview.
Mastery at it's finest Annie 🙌🏾 I congratulate you 💯💯💯💯 brilliant design and execution If i was that client i would have paid double at the end no matter the cost 💯❤️
Lots of clever camera angles and beautiful individual pieces but oh dear ... The screens are like vacant advertising hoardings. The garden is a little green version of Phoenix, Az. The challenge here would have been to create a quintessentially English garden in the small space - bursting with flowers, etc. through the seasons.
Thank you for making this illuminating conversation available. It is still highly relevant today - perhaps even more so as so many people make huge assumptions about the objectivity of science and scientific research. Leslie: "Surely science is fact?" Lyall: "I don't think so, Leslie. We scientists tend to look down our noses at folklore and myth and to ignore the fact that what we believe is based on very slight evidence, and that science is a kind of mythology of its own." Leslie: "What sort of things do you have in mind here?" Lyall: "We tend to think that scientific fact is independent of time, of place, of person but if you look at it very carefully you'll see it is not based so much on observation as it is on a political social process."💥
Hi @simonewilliams9056. Does your friend still have that interview on CD? I am based in South Africa and part of an independent Artistic Research institute and we often refer to Lyall Watson's Artistic Mind. I would be honoured to play a role in transcribing/creating a video with the content of that interview. Please feel free to email me to chat further. Thank you.
Wow.....very impressive! How intimidated I would be at first..... I truly wondered how it would come together. The artist is a true visionary of sorts...such an artist! Thank you for sharing this with us all. I really loved it. Paula
I'm pleased that you found this BBC radio interview interesting - I had recently graduated with a physics degree and after reading Lyall Watson's book Supernature, I listened to this interview absolutely spellbound - how could a tennis ball be "everted" - it was all contrary to what I had just been learning. I made the recording in the early 1970's and ever since, I have been exploring the paranormal and my most recent interest is focused on consciousness. Enlightened individuals in physics, maths, neuroscience, biology, philosophy, medicine and psychology are all coming to the conclusion that consciousness does not reside in the brain. In particular, Dr Pim Van Lommel, a Dutch cardiologist has collected interviews with those he has resuscitated from cardiac arrest, and has come to this same conclusion. Also Dr Bruce Greyson of the university of Virginia, after studying Near Death Experiences for over 40 years agrees with Dr Van Lommel. @@webglobalvillage Thank you so much for these! I enjoyed 'Supernature' but for me 'Lifetide' is a masterpiece. In it, I think Lyall comes tantalizingly close to explaining such "paranormal" phenomena as UFOs and cryptid sightings, as he talks about how one dimensional our perception of reality is. Bob Gymlan seems to be coming to a similar point of view which you might be interested in: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hs1Rhm8zZuM.html
I read several of Lyall Watson's books many years ago and found them fascinating & very readable. I admired his readiness to accept and try to explain phenomenon others would shy away from. ( He sounds nothing like I expected )
Hideously inappropriate planting and design choices with animated commentary on Pamela Anderson's cleavage and unzipping your trousers, but please read on..
Thanks for sharing this fascinating conversation. It's reinvigorated my appetite the author's work. The Genesis Man will be the next book I read with the usual outlook altering anticipation.
Another area which interests me is Near Death Experiences - specially Dr Bruce Greyson who has been part of a team at the University of Virginia researching the phenomenon - see the following link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4RGizqsLumo.html
I kind of like the guy, he has a weird sense of humor!!!! now ,the screens not to my liking, but the owner likes it sooooo be it! OY Not fond of the metal sculpture either aaaaaaaa water feature is nice though bamboo is quite aggressive. Ok all and all I can do a great job on my own lol
They are already here and they can communicate , but most people wouldn't even notice. It,s like listening to two snails sat on a rock discussing how a human might make pancakes ....
Brilliant, thank you. Lyall Watson and Erich von Daniken opened my young mind. That's why I believe in the possibility of ghosts, aliens, fairies, elves, magic, and yes, even dragons. We have just been "conditioned" to not believe in anything the powers that be think we should not believe in. There is talk of whether we are living in a simulation - yes we are - the one we are creating as we go along. There's still time to change the road you're on - Break on through to the other side.
Wow thus film is very Professional i love eveey angle of this video its peefect 👍lets exchange ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PuX72BRZmJk.html
It's hard to decide from this side of the pond, but do people in Britain actually like this James guy? It was only by sheer power of will that I made it to the end.
