I’m drawing something not from reference, but I’m trying to make a full sky of rolling clouds. Does this technique work without space from the sky being present?

I am actually making a sketch of a plane flying over a country side and fields, so my plane is in light shade and my fields or land is bit darker than the plane ,so will this type of clouds be suitable for the drawing? Or should i darken the sky or lighten the sky?

Do you pencil draw and shade an American bulldog not an English bulldog but an American. Also I really hard time doing shedding of hands and drawing of hands vice-versa so far I've done the eyeball I have yours and the golden retriever when I'm stressed out this is what I usually do and it helps me unwind I loved itl so much. Thank you for this I just got into shading and I need a lot more help with it people tell me that I'm in the wrong profession because I'm so talented and drawing but I don't have an imagination so I look at drawings or follow tutorials or draw something from a picture and then shade it. Idont trace it wver but shading is my favorite. Thank you so much for this tutorial because I did not know there was something that I can get for my hand so I don't smear the pencil all over the paper I'm not done watching this yet but I hope there's a way that I can stop getting pencil over my paper and places I don't want it like a spray or something

I am wanting to start drawing a bit more realistically and your video is a great intro to that. Can you please advise on your Mars Lumograph black pencil, which "B" is it? is it an 8B? All I am finding is the kit (which I need actually). Lastly, I see you are using a white pencil? Which are you using? oh never mind, it is a pencil eraser haha... Got it! I appreciate your reply. This is exactly what I needed!! thank you!! I'm new to using Tortillons and I clearly have an issue of using it at the wrong angle. LOL I will work at both the angle and using the paperclip. :)
