To Draw White Whiskers on a Golden Retriever or animal. In this drawing tutorial, I demonstrate how to indent strokes to create white whiskers with a Stylus. The drawing I am using is a Golden Retriever from my online drawing class, Drawing Realistic Subjects In Pencil.

TIP: You can also use a sharp hard pencil (4H-9H) and tracing paper. Place your tracing paper over your drawing and stroke out the whiskers with the pencil where you want them placed. Remember to give some pressure because you want these strokes to be indented. Remove the tracing paper and viola - indented whiskers. :D

Realistic Pencil Drawing when I blend while shading the surroundings the indentations seem to get covered too..

Great tip! thank you and hopefully, it will help me draw more realistically with ballpoint pens, preferably with red BiC pens. Because red ink is easier to "correct" than ink that is as dark as blue or black.

Because everyone has shit taste in art, like this lady's stuff, even on DeviantArt (no one would buy my improved, ever-changing art there). Excuse my French, but sadly, it's true.
