They used to come to Ft Stewart in 1982 -83 and give free concerts for soldiers and their families. Mary naturally killed the vocals. Concerts were outside. Band members played their butts off. They were always engaging with attendees after their concerts

Not bad, I heard of them back in the days ,but I was never a fan of theirs , but then I guess everything is alright now because time has worked out for everyone and more power to them. 🤜👍🤛
Get off your Gas! Does your adrenaline start to pump as you approach the bridge knowing that its only that thin white line on the ground that prevents speeding cars from touching you? Anyway, that was pretty kool.
Doug, I enjoyed riding with you alotback in the "early days" around Sun City and HHI before traffic and life got so complicated. I have great memories of group rides often followed with fun social times. Lots of fun! I think I first met you and maybe Patsy and Hugh about 20 years ago at a ride with a lunch after at the Pink Pig in Hardeville. I am sad you quit riding, but agree with Hugh--better it was on your terms and not anothers. Be well
Doug, you're a great guy and it was a pleasure to ride with you for all those years. I know it's hard to quit, but I'm glad you chose to stop rather than have that decision made for you.
Congratulations on being to ride as long as you did. Not many can say that. Also thanks for sharing the changes in the area and all of the nature stuff on your other channel. I've learned and enjoyed a lot from what you've shared.
I will always feel privileged to have ridden with you, and call you a friend. The bicycle training and local historical information that you shared with the group was always appreciated. Many new riders, late in life, learned how to safely ride because of you. Stay well my friend.
Interesting, Doug. Things certainly have changed. Remember when we easily rode through Bluffton to the original Corner Perk? We've seen some dramatic changes over the past 10-15 years.
How do the cyclers prepare for such a long trek and what are some of the things newbies should be conscious of, viewers like myself would like to know. Like tips and for caring for the bike also the thoughts about planning a route. 🚴🏻♀️
What a great way to spend an Election Day! Nice community effort. Haw much was raised? I'm assuming it was a fund raiser. Also, would you consider doing a video with your fellow riders reviewing bicycles? I'm interested in what you folks ride. I'm in the market for a new one. My Trek FX 2 from 2008 is in need of being replaced. At 61 years old I'm thinking the Trek Verve but wanted some opinions from you guys on what works for you.
