Only Mike can write this stuff and only Salty can draw it. I'm thankful we all get the chance to experience your art. This story is quintessential art. A wonderful, whimsical, fantastical narrative. And an absolute joy to get lost in for just under 19 minutes. Love you guys!! God grant you many years <3
Not that "Timo Tolkki compositions sound better when someone else sings" is anything new but I'd never heard someone do it with his solo material, bravo!
Great stuff mate. I'm looking at switching over to Headrush from a TC Voicelive 3. Can you assign looper buttons to the main footswitches? I.e Rec/play on one switch and stop/clear on another?
Half of this song sounds like my ADHD, ngl. The meds are helping a little. Getting more stuff done. Less jumping from one unfinished task to the next, culminating in despairing at my lack of fully accomplishing any one thing. Weirdly, listening to reddit stories also helps.😅🤷♀️.
He should have just made it into an axe... unless tree sap counts as blood? 😅 This is my favorite song for the week. "Husband! Prepare to be sick of hearing this!"😁
Side note: so obviously this is super stuck in my head now, enough that when I wasn't paying attention Dragon's tooth" switched to "Dragon Fruit" 😅🤦♀️🤷♀️
oh hell yeah! something about this song makes it my all time favourite ❤ The way the story is told, the dramatic music, the vague implications, and how it ties in with my fav scifi tropes. It's just soooo gooooooooood
so apparently I've already watched this because Queen 2 is my favourite Queen album, but now I've found it again by checking out my favourite recurring Ayreon guest. Weird. Amazing cover.
hey, nice song I found it to be linked to a certain command-line-like website. Do you know anything about that site? The link is not over youtube, they merely state the name of your song
Great gig tonight in London! I need one of them tshirts. Huge surprise voice. I instantly thought wow this guy has either done Jesus Christ Superstar or is going to one day!
Every time I listen to this guy's stuff I feel a bit sad that I can't write like this, and never took singing lessons at a young age. Amazing expressive voice, with a range to die for. He's got like 2 octaves on me. Bastard lol
hey man, awesome viceo and one of the few showing the vocal possibilities, thank you so much for making it. Do you use it on stage as well ? and have you tried other vocal pedals for comparison ?
Is his voice really that high or is the Headrush vocal effects getting it there. This guy really knows how to use this unit no question about that, sounds like he’s getting the most out of what it does.
wellgivit is crazy catchy, if it had a chorus with repeating lyrics it would be even better. trying to sing a long is a challenge. this song could have been a hit!
Hey Mike. I saw the title of this video and figured I should watch it in case your worst gig was one when I was your drummer. I'm thankful it wasn't. Ha! But then as the story unfolded I remembered the gig and the confrontation at my shop the next day. Happy it ended well :)
