Fantastic visual mood for this song. The evolving instrumentation and the details in the vocals are amazing at keeping interest for the whole runtime, classic Toehider delivery!
That was nice. Love the ballady Toehider stuff. And If one has seen the new years broadcast we know that you didn't choose quit forever, you went for the mad 12in12 EP crazyness. Glad to see you also are coming back to youtube. I believe in this. Now lets bribe some reactors to shine some light on this. Get the word out. Reactors doubled the Nightwish audience, no reason we can't double the toehider audience ( no percentage ratio calculationz please) Now do more!
I freaking love everything about Toehider, but I extra freaking love the lyrics. Because they're so relatable, I can't think of another songwriter whose lyrics would hit so hard home (and backyard and garage and the neighbor's wall and their car and mailbox) - nowhere else have I gotten the same feeling of supposedly simple things being so hard and hard things being easy when you shake your toes at them, how things are unbearable and bearable at the same time and why all the bears, and just the way life and things... is. Are. And that there are songs about all kinds of things, with lyrics you don't really get but you also totally get them, and you get to give them your own meanings too. It's fikkis, it's 5, and I have so many memories of these memories listening to Mike's stuff (expect for the memories I don't have). Thank you. Also the music rocks. And Salty's art too. All dope.
We look to a land down under. There lives a man who makes musical wonder. In his studio creating magical soundscapes. Brilliantly illustrated by Saltys hand paints. They are the dynamic duo extraordinaire. Known to the world as Toehider.
As homogenized as the internet has made culture, it's weird how much of the entertainment I like comes from Australia and NZ in particular. 'ello from the US.
