How can anyone be surprised that the Chargers drafted an O-lineman with the 5th pick? On the recruiting trail, Harbaugh prioritized O-Linemen before any other position. And he used to buy his O-Linemen expensive gifts while he was an NFL QB. Plus, Harbaugh might be the only man on Earth who compliments O-Linemen like others compliment QBs.
The 94 version with Thorpe DOMINATED the Bulls every time they played them, so they would’ve had a better shot at the 95 squad with Drexler , because the combination of Olajuwon and Thorpe was too much size inside. The 95 squad got so hot after beating the Suns, that they beat the Spurs in 6 and swept the Magic, Olajuwon was at his peak and because of that they would have beaten anyone that year. It was an amazing thing to witness really because the Suns were HOT when the series against the Rockets started winning 5 Straight playoff games. Sweeping their first round opponent and destroying Houston in games 1 and 2. So once Houston dug deep and was able to win game 5 in overtime in Phoenix I knew it was going 7, and after the kiss of death win, no one was knocking them out in 95. I was rooting for Chicago against Orlando because those young bucks worried me more than Chicago did, but like I said once Houston got thru the Suns it didn’t matter
Either his consistent inaccuracy is due to himself or his receivers running routes badly. If you're not gonna say which, then this will come off as a shallow, cherry-picked assessment. "Best pocket-passer" doesn't mean what it says in the context of "he rushes less than all the other QBs." I heard others call out the receivers for poor route-running, but I haven't seen nearly enough footage showing examples.
