Probably be better off long term getting a single fitting with the desired angle for the lines out of the rack. Less failure points, but thank you for this info, something I’ve been curious about for a while 👍🏼👍🏼
well heck lol ... that's rad ... you might have even convinced me to do this .... i have been thinking of the Volvo electric pump , or maybe even like the Prius i think it is full electric column ... anyways rad vid and clean install bro ... peace and love all , keep it rad , stay safe , and build on .. l8z
Awesome video man . Very tidy and inclusive install, was it just the camera angle making the low pressure return fitting on the pump look like it was just barely on ?
This is dope since Ive been wanting to go this route for my RSX instead of using the EP3 Civic EPS rack. Theres a pump controller on ebay that lets you turn a knob and get full power out of it, instead of the 75% max without the canbus. Not cheap at 100 bucks.
Square tubing or any tubing you paint the outside but it’s raw metal inside of the tubes do they make straws like wd40 for spray paint to shoot inside of the tubes if not will a pb or wd nozzle that has straw insert work on a paint can
17:55 Rare to see someone actually hold the hand brake button untill its in possition and then release to lock it in, instead of cranking it across all of the teeth.
The reason for going up a gauge is because of voltage drop off. In my mind it would really matter if you used the same or bigger as the distance isnt that far
Curious how loud the pump is being inside the cab. That’s one of my only reservations on doing this to my 95 Talon. Don’t want a super loud whine in the cab.
I love videos like this that really show you how to do something... Dunno if I'll ever do this mod unless my stock pump dies, but if I ever do, I now know where to start! Also... oooh which car's getting drop knuckles?
Hey mike I always go to harbor freight if it’s around you guys and get the jumper cable packs and use those and cut them up to what I need them for they save a lot of $ hopefully you have one around town and can stock up on wire they have multiple different gauges as well
