Hey Mike, I'm from Australia and we also have cicadas here as well. I have vivid memories from when I was young and visiting my grandmother as there used to be a section of trees in her yard that the cicadas would frequently rest on at the end of the day and the noise they would make would be deafening. As for the exhaust sounds clips my favorite would have to be the Greddy one, followed by the no exhaust clip, then the aftermarket one. With the aftermarket one it did start to sound a little bit raspy at higher rpms compared to the Greddy. Also, I did notice in the clips of you driving the Z that it sounded like that "Ticking" noise you had a while ago is back. I only really heard it when you were slowing down for the red light, but maybe you might want to go the the footage for yourself. Anyway man, loved the video. Keep doing what you doing!

Greddy sounds good, I personally like the sound of the aftermarket exhaust, I like to hear the intake over the exhaust, but I'm old school, I grew up in the 90s, that was the sound everyone was going for then. Cicadas are honestly one of my favorite things about moving to the Midwest.

As an old guy still "emotionally ill" from that 80's and 90's import "Bumble Bee" exhaust sound, I LOVE both the current and the Greddy.

I am the same way like you Mike. I always want to have my two cars out and about haha. I understand Logan and Smokes not wanting to drive the Gloria, they feel way more scared driving that than an actual rental car. At the end of the day though I love watching my friends drive my cars and enjoy them as I do. 66 Ford Galaxie 500 LTD and a 72 F250 Ranger, the cruiser and the smoke truck haha.

The Greddy definitely sounds better and it’s a little louder, but once you turbo, it will quiet down so I would go with Greddy all day 🤙🏻🔥

Greddy sounds great but imo I wouldn't wanna chop up that nice exhaust, save the greddy for another Z, just my two cents. Honestly the aftermarket fits so well as is and it sounds great ✌✌

an option you could do for the exhaust too is run the down pipe into one of the pipes and the waste gate into the other. unless you really want a external dump. if so just a y collector backwards

The Greddy sounds awesome. I used to have a full cat back greddy exhaust on my SH Prelude. Greddy, Mugen, HKS, Apex i N1 exhaust systems have always been known in the import scene.

Mike! Dunno if you're aware, but if you have any friends who have a Playstation and Gran Turismo 7, search "Prizza" in the custom car designs section. People have recreated your current up to date 300ZX, 240, "work truck" Integra and even your watermelon pink/lime Supra R/C car! It's really sweet! Might make for a fun addition to a video to see what some fans have done!

2:50 2nd gen F-body, with looks like ladder bars and adjustable shock mounts. I'm betting he has to cut the axle tube ends down, for C-clip eliminators that are pressed on the new axles. Prob doing rear disc drag brakes also.

In California we barely ever hear cicadas but when ii visit family in Mississippi its like a normal background noise. not my favorite but not horrible.

I really think the blocked off part of the x pipe is acting like the extra helmholtz resonators you see on some zokusha mufflers over seas to give it a different tone than you expected.
