Clutches would never get stuck if the PTO got some oil before the clutch is installed. And they wouldn't get stuck if they had shorter service intervals.
After watching this, I'm headed to the workbench to have a word with about 6 welding helmets that all crapped out on me just as I have a railing that needs fixing. 😄
What about using a smaller pump to pump the water up to a tower for 50 times as long, then have a 5 or 10 minute surf time before needing to be recharged.
This is a VERY nice & informative video! I had plans to do the same thing for a 25' high ceiling and, from my reasearch, found two hoists (Vevor & Pittsburgh)...Vevor support says their hoist should NOT be used to pull & hold something up "permanently"...any comment?your video is almost 11-years old...hoist still holding up...thx
Seems like the 2 speed centrifugal jackshaft was the best of both worlds. Too bad they can't make one of those where the first gear is a torque converter, with a solid lockout overdrive.
I use ultra high pressure desilt for my job. When we hit a blockage, we would pull the hose back a little and let it spray the blockage for around 10 seconds or so, if that doesn’t clear it, we would go back and forth with the hose whilst slightly rotating it. Usually that clears the issue. We use around 10,000 psi (700 bar) with flow rates around 170 LPM (35 GPM) On very rare occasions we can get up to 43,500 psi (3000 bar) with 400 LPM (88 GPM)
This video was the one that got me to the solution. I thought I was going to have to remove flywheel...I tried to remove it. A long narrow torx bit did it. I have a zero turn and only had to remove 2 bolts from the outer shroud and the gas tank pin to move it out of the way by and extra 2 inches...a very difficult job became very easy. thank you!
Congratulations to all of you on a fantastic result. What I saw was a gift of great wealth - the knowledge and confidence of hands on experience that you gave your daughter. It is a foundation that changes her life from now on. There are so many mistakes that she can avoid, because she can think back, understand the construction of builds or items, and ponder any future difficulties. Or figure out paths for repairs. My parents did remodelling and were very competent, and I didn't get it that it was something special. These practical skills are an absolute gift that will stand firm, no matter how life changes.
This was like the best video i have seen for people who may not have every drill attachment to their ryobi, like basic tools and basic materials, like Maybe $50 for the planter, $5 for the paint bucket if you don't have one lying around the garage, $25 for the pump, and maybe like $5 for the pvc pipe and rubber tube piece, honestly not bad for like $80-90 as a novice DIYer too and a great feature for a child with water sensory needs. THANK YOU SIR!
Since he’s keeping the trans in use is this all in first gear or jumping to 6th to bypass. I’ve gone through 3 trans ever since I started mine years ago due to jerking
i tore mine apart. Compressor is running and secondary coil just ices up. The piping off the compressor and the compressor itself never get hot. Im not sure why but is this why its not gathering water?
I had a Lil Indian when I was a teenager. My friend had an orange early 70s, Sears mini bike. We used to duct tape one of those big ole' square flash lights on our front fenders and cruise around the neighborhoods at night. Neighbors probably thought, who the heck is mowing their lawn at this hour? 😂😂
Maybe I missed the detail on the torque converter, still new to this. Is there a specific product on amazon that I should look at? there are several and they vary.
Good video. I have a Harbor Freight Bauer 16" electric (plug in) chainsaw with the same plastic gear problem you had, except all my teeth are worn down My trouble is I can't find a replacement gear anywhere. The gear I need is about the same size as yours, but the spindle in the center is a bit different...one side has a 1" bearing that is attached to a geared shaft. I was trying to find out who manufactures the saw so I could contact them directly as HF was no help. Would you have any information on where I can get this gear? Thanks.
