You did a lot more steps than you needed to do, talking about removing all the wires on top of the battery plate. All you needed to do was remove the positive terminal and the one nut securing the left lead then the top plate just fold over. Overwise good helpful video.
You did many things wrong in my opion....Neg cable should be removed BEFORE removing POS cable and Neg should be the last one attached (after POS cable). If you do it your way and remove the POS first and you touch any metal with your wrench it will look like the 4th of July The additional cables under the the cover near the POS term come off as one unit. It is called a bus bar. NO need to take off all the cables. un plug the fender side plugs and then lift the bus bar up and off.
Never buying another gm truck again with that bs. If I wanna do a quick swap after work I can’t anymore because gm designed it where you’re forced to unbolt layers of crap just to get to something that used to take 2 seconds to swap out
