I want to invest into this helmet. Im having issues finding the tinted shield and the Pinlock insert. Unfortunately, I will not be buying this helmet unless I can find these options.
I absolutely love my HJC “Elbowz” helmet. Ben was & is my favorite all time motorcycle racer. Thank you for the memories of on track battles and some epic performances.
I have had my V10 3 weeks. Very comfortable and quite, though there is a strong whistle when the visor is open around 30+, I do ride a z1000 naked so sort of expected. There are no issues with pull even at high speeds😉. Vents do help with cooling face but not head, so they are a bit warm in hot weather. HJC coloured visor looks awesome on plain black lid.
is mesh working with people that have for example Sena50s ?. I would like to get a Smart HJC 50B but Im not sure if I can talk wwith my Sena friends via Mesh
Hello HJC, please update fw for the following scenario: 2 Rider talking each other via MESH and if one of them receives a phone call the mesh is interrupted without any sign/beep/voice/information and the one who not received the phone call keeps telling telling telling the stories without knowing the other end is on a call and out of MESH conversation... So annoying ! Thank you

What a useless video. You said nothing about its distinction from the i90. All I see is that you gave it a new number and integrated the sub-par Sena system. Partner with Cardo instead.
I definitely can NOT recommend this setup. The ear cushions can not fit back in when speakers are mounted, so no matter which one (I have rpha 91) the helmets gets brutally loud. The device can only used by hjc app which didn't update since it's start (this is an security risk on your mobile) and even the firmware is not updating. 50b v 1.0 vs 50r v 3.4. The fault here is HJC not Sena. So you buy a 400 Euro "software dead" device that doesn't fit properly on a 800 Euro helmet!
Awesome Helmet! Why does the American versions come with the Double D- ring and not the micro buckle chin strip, no ECE certification, only DCT Certification? I would like to have both. I despise D-rings.
Watch out !!! The hole or placeholder in the motorcycle helmet may not be deep enough for speakers. For example, when installing the SENA 30K in the HJC i 100 helmet. The loudspeaker is approx. 2 mm above the cut-out, the edge causes unpleasant pain on the auricles. The padding is a joke and is even more bulky. So how do I get the hole deeper? If I cut out the plastic at the cut-out and push the polystyrene deeper, I lose the possibility of gluing the speaker there. Almost nothing sticks to polystyrene crumbs. Pouring out might be possible, but with what? Styrofoam doesn't like chemicals!
What is the general shell/EPS shape in this helmet? Intermediate-oval shape? More round? More long-oval? I ask because the majority of the market can choose whatever helmet they way, mostly. My head shape is long-oval and I have a hard time finding helmets I can afford (here's talking to you, Arai) that don't give me a forehead headache. I will go as far as taking a dremel to the EPS to relieve the pressure point(s) and make an otherwise excellent helmet fit. Yeah I know, reduces crush performance. But unless manufacturers are willing to produce a long-oval shape, who cares. And there's no standard on the market of helmets to determine what general shell shape they've gone with. This is THE MOST FRUSTRATING THING about helmet manufacturers across the board, the lack of relative standards of fit, shape data, and the never ending fiddling around with visor locks and pivot mechanisms, chin strap mechanisms, strap attachment locations (smashing ears potentially), and ventilation mechanisms. You'd think they do it just to make money and not improve. How many times did a manufacturer arrive at an excellent design and then promptly discard that in the next model introduction for inferior stuff?
