Will this mean that the typhoons start going south? In usual years, the Philippines used to start receiving direct hits from typhoons on September instead of them hitting north to Taiwan and Okinawa, so that pattern is quite late this year, but I am not looking forward to October and November at all, I still remember the year of Goni, also a La Nina year
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my portfolio for retirement of about $150k. I want to know: Do I keep contributing to my portfolio in these unstable markets, or do I look into alternative sectors?
the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.
You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so l've been sticking to investing via an analyst.

Robert chiming in from Canlaon City just thought you might want to know that it’s been so windy like 40 to 50 mile an hour gust and torrential pouring rain this Habagot is worse than a hurricane or tropical storm that hits and keeps going. 6 days power out for the most part. The mainline Weather organizations do not drill down like you do and their forecast doesn’t even come close to the disaster we’re experiencing. Thank you so much for your hard work and up-to-date technology.
Thanks for extending your service to cover central Vietnam.. we are here awaiting the rain, but glad and thankful not with +++ winds coming with it! Cheers
Saw some Cambodians celebrating online about how Vietnam and Thailand were battered by the Yagi typhoon. I hope they're smart enough to realize that the Mekong river will bring these disaster to them too. Alas, expecting Cambodians to be smart and humble might just be a lost cause.
