I am a little bit worried about buying an e-foil - because after trying it once - 2 sessions on a small beachside pond in Phuket - it seemed too easy. So not much to master. I am 60 YO. May be better to rent for 10 sessions, claim victory for competence, get some selfie videos... and move on. hmmm.... Its a bit like an electric one-wheel (looks impressive - but too easy).
I'll stick with Lift. I enjoy pure flight not some auto flight controller. I liken it to flying FPV verse say a DJI drone. Awesome video though. Thanks!
The connection between the remote control and the board was lost at sea, causing me to die. The board drifted and I lost it in the current. Waydoo admitted its mistake by saying that if you buy a new product, we will give you a discount. It is a reliable company that blames the user for every problem that occurs after sales and avoids responsibility.

Hey bro thanks for all the video about the waydoo evo, writing to you from Positano on the amalfi coast , i do have a flyer one plus with several propellers and i was thinking of doing a upgrade to the evo mainly for the longer lasting battery..could you do a review about the battery and how long it actually last!? And do the old propellers fit on the new power unit?!
I just took a class and was falling off both sides. How do you keep your balance when you start to fall over? Is it the same for plaining and flying? I see you said put your arm out and look the way you want to go but at 6:06 you are reaching looking left but I see the board turning right on right edge. thanks!
What's the point of a speed test with the prop guard on? That's a massive amount of drag and increased current draw / lower top speed (a good 15-20% current draw penalty). That prop guard is the first thing to come off any efoil after the first 2 days of riding. It'll also increase the maneuverability and playfulness of the board too, and will decrease the liklihood of all your bails over the nose each time you slow down 😋
