We all need to take an administration/maintenance day to gather our thoughts and regain some semblance of control. Having a plan and checking off even small accomplishments makes a huge difference to our personal morale. Stay in the fight the good Lord is with you. And thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings.

Interesting video thanks. A little suggestion. When you are talking,which is the entire video, don’t turn your back and talk. Why not set the camera someplace in front of you so you can talk and work at the same time and not have your voice muffled half the time.

One way of keeping eggs fresh is to rub the eggs with mineral oil. Will keep up to a year plus.
@jimjordan5630
@jimjordan5630 11 дней назад
I'm wondering if you could use the oil trick and then use the water glass method, or if there's something special about the bloom on the fresh eggs and that the oiled eggs wouldn't work.

I make my own yogurt and love that. But I have never heard that it could help with sleep. Are there lots of benefits to kefir that aren’t in yogurt? Thanks, and I think I’ll go check out the video on making kefir
@kateislas34

Yes, there are so many more benefits to kefir that are not in yogurt😊 yogurt is wonderful, but does not have anywhere near the amount of probiotics and good bacteria that kefir has, it is truly amazing! I would check out Donna with Cultured food life - she is the one the I got so much information from, love her!

Yeah, great advice! Lots of us are being overwhelmed by all the wickedness going around us right now. And not really knowing how this is going to work out, but, we know that being in Christ Jesus, He truly is our Rock, and our tower of safety, to whom we run to crying Abba Father! One thing about these new curriculum you are choosing, you have already accepted and chosen that no one can or will care for your children like you will, that's a Big step right there, a big step you can be very proud of! Keep up the good work, trust Jesus to lead you along the right pathways with His eye on your every way! God bless you, will be looking forward to canning those potatoes!!! I've dry canned one batch, including sweet potatoes, not an approved method... They seem fine though. Looking forward to you video tomorrow, if you need more time, please take it and don't overwhelm your self because of us! We'll be here !!! God bless you!!!

If you're family loves devil eggs and pickled eggs. You can boil your eggs, shell them place in a jar. You need to put in another pot 1 cup of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar your chose. 2 cups of water, a forth of a cup of sugar or leave it out. A tablespoon of salt, and spices you like as hot pepper flakes, little hot sauce whatever you would like to spice it up. But if you don't want any spices leave them out but you need the salt. Bring it to a boil then let it cool down to warm. Pour over your boiled eggs in the jar,clean the jar rim, place lid and ring. You can set in the refrigerator or to seal the jars. Set them in your pot or canner, water bath or presser. You just want to seal the lids so i water bath for 20 minutes after the boil. Now you have storage good pickled eggs and you can use the to make devil eggs or anything you will used boiled eggs in or just eat the pickled eggs. They last years if you seal the lids. I have had sealed pickled eggs that's 3 years old. No eggs to shell and ready to eat or make into a egg salad or egg dish.

You can't build pressure in a pressure canner without water in it. She had to have water in it to process the eggs. Her jars had no water in them because, as she said, she was dry canning the eggs. Without water in the canner, all the jars would probably explode & yes, you would warp the canner.
@kateislas34

Definitely keep water in the canner - I just had no water in the jars themselves 😊

Good video.. Looks like you were very busy!! The grapes look delicious too! Question...did you steam those in your canner..instead of wb'ing? It looked like an "American canner"(?) I wonder if thats possibe to steam in my presto canner.🤔 Ive seen where in other countries they do not cover their jars anyways.. Only to the bottom part of the rim..any thought on that? Thank you in advance!!
