I wore the wave for a long time, until my wife bought me the Surge. I LOVE it, still love the wave, but if you use the tool frequently, and like something a little more capable. Get the surge!
Agreed, troy bilt has been nothing but headaches for me in the past. the only exception is I currently have a self propelled 21inch I think it is, that I got for free, cleaned the carb, and it works fantastic going on 3 years. I use it to mow at a rental property, throw it in the shed, use every 2 weeks and no problems at all, knock on wood.
haha yeah sorry, for some time now I have taken peoples advice and begun turning the music level down and my speaking volume up. Some of these older videos still were a learning curve for that kind of stuff for me. thanks.
I just take my scrap boats to the landfill on the trailer and push them off, cost a little more, but by the time you buy blades and spend all day cutting it up and then cleaning up it’s worth it just to dump it whole.
Yeah unfortunately they wouldn’t take it whole, said I needed to cut it up before they would take it. I wish they would have taken it whole, even if it was a bit more like you said, it would have been easier.
I think your best statement of the video was that it’s more important to have a blade on you than to argue. Back-and-forth of whether serrated or straight blade is more important video.
I'm 5'6" 190 and I carry a g17 or g19 with the Tulster Oath holster at the 330 and have no problem sitting in the car or at church. I'm in California so 10 rounds is my limit so at church I have 3 mags. 1 or two everywhere else.
I wouldn't give you a dollar for that pistol now you run that aluminum cleaning rod in the wrong end of the barrel and you can hear it grind and rifling oh my God oh my God as they say
yes agreed, not best to go through the barrel. However, the aluminum is much softer than the steel, used for the cleaning rods for that reason, you would have to use a lot of force to actually damage the barrel with an aluminum rod. Thanks.
I bought one of those and bent the blade within ten days. Took it back to Lowe's and got another one. I just bent that one also after using for 5 days. I'm 62 years old and only weigh 165 pounds so it's not like I can really slam it down into the ground.
Honestly, not the greatest video but it got me to get the panels off. I got the job done and I am grateful for the help. I used one of those sprays and hosed it off afterwards. Looks great, everything works. The panel design strikes me as challenging. What a pain in the ass. Thanks
Ugh not so amazing warranty I’m afraid…..FISKARS wants me to ship back a $20 item which would cost me at least $10 to mail..Would have been nice to have them offer a free return label to a 20 year customer, but no, they’d rather stiff the people who helped get them where they are. I tried to appeal asking for a goodwill replacement. No dice and no sympathetic response…..just basically return it and we’ll see. fiskars…..be sure to look for all my negative reviews wherever I can post them.
Clint Smith and Massad Ayoob have great presentations on this topic. Not knocking this vid or creator, as he clearly states his purpose was to get folks to what they do and why. As for me, it depends on what tool I’m using and where I’m going. The beautiful thing is that I live in a Constitutional Carry state, so the options are greater.
Surge is the first and only multitool I bought and it suits my needs. After I got used to it i was in a store that had a bunch of Leathermans and they all looked so tiny like toys. Both great IMO
