ehh idk, looks good on tape, but I dont wanna see a similiar situation during Ayton 1st pick over Luca Doncic. Nikola Topic is gonna be the hidden Gem in this draft.
Being the best player next year will be tough. Malaysia Fulwili and JuJu Watkins will have something to say about that. Kudos to women's basketball it's definitely in good hands. I don't know who will win player of the year. Both SC's will probably play for the chip. It will be interesting.
I love how the way of thinking is that he's not the prototypical big man in today's NBA. Maybe if someone drafts him and incorporates a half court offense around him other teams would have to conform to defending a big powerful big man who bangs inside.
Angel Reese will be nothing more than a Denis Rodmen. Nothing more than a colorful loudmouth. She's nowhere near the best and nowhere near the worst. Sheel just be ok. I mean the draft says it all. 7th overall says alot about all the hype about her.
If you think the Hawks are going to do the smart thing and draft Sarr then you are not a Hawks fan. You probably usually support a winning franchise. Way too much time between when we got the pick and the draft for the inexperienced front office to over think things or for more experienced GM’s to figure out a way to take advantage of them.
face it, tatum isnt a top 5 player in the league, even if he wins the chip...look at ALL THE PLAYERS THEY HAD TO GET! also Luka SHOULD be the face of the league, if Tatum learns spanish and another language for sure make him the face then....til then its luka due his tri-lingual skills
Penny should've been fired after fumbling that how you gone take dude out his natural position an expect him to succeed then mis-handled the other top recruit as well
Let’s see, the hype was as a 7th grader. Of course his class will eventually catch up physically. He still in the NBA, I don’t consider that as ‘bad’. Bullshit like this is what destroys these young kids.
Tatum is going to go BEAST mode in the finals. I honestly think he hasn’t come close to giving it his all yet in the playoffs. He’s barely even broken a sweat out there yet. He has a team that can win whether he plays well or not this year, unlike last year so why not save his dominance for the finals.
Thank you for making this. The media narrative surrounding Tatum and the Celtics has been an embarrassment. It's crazy that making the ECF and Finals and losing is somehow worse than getting bounced first round or not even making it to begin with. Overachievement is not a negative.
Would like to see an overall look at the combine or guards, then bigs to compare. I don’t see Sarr making a real impact in the first few yrs. Definitely not on offense. If I’m the Hawks, I drop down and get Edey plus a wing instead of Sarr. You immediately have a go to man in the post so you’re not solely relying on Trae and DJ. Plus they already have Okungwu and Gueye who’s gonna be a monster.
I hope he makes it happen so he can shut the media up but even if he does win the finals the media will still probably find something to talk trash about
Honestly i want the celtics to win and tatum to shoot poorly but still have the best +/- of both teams ,something like 40% from the field and 30% from 3 but average a 20 point triple double, a 20, 10 and 10 with lockdown defense type of series and win FMVP that would shut the media up for good!
Have you been paying attention? And JT has broken so many records already that it's not a stretch to compare him to those guys. I'll give you one that should show you how great he is but won't because you're opinion is biased as well. He passed Jordan for most points in the playoffs in a player's first seven seasons in the second round this year and then in the conference finals he surpassed Bird. He has scored more points in the playoffs in his first seven seasons than any other player in NBA history. I don't think it's delusional to put him in that tier. People just assume that because of how the media talks about him. Just look up the records he's either tied or broken at this point in his career and it's not a stretch to say by the time he retires, he'll be up there with the best ever.
