I used to have a boss who told me he went to see Ike Turner in Uptown in New Orleans. The show started and the band came out like gangbusters. But Ike looked terrible. One or two songs in, Ike stopped playing, started staring at his guitar and made a face like it was melting in his hands. Then he dropped it like it was on fire. Yeah, the show was pretty much over after that.
Ike is a piece of garbage that doesn't deserve his accolades. Yeah, that's right! I know what he did to Tina and how he did it. SHUT UP! Phil Spector's the only pauper that's been to his funeral and he's served more jail time than Ike's ever done. Heck, he even died in prison too. Now what's up with dat?!?
