When in living color and What's love got to do with it came out, this was acceptable, by all people. People who even experienced domestic violence, laughed about the skits It's a scene in What's love got to do with it, where Tina and her friend joke about Ike and how he treated Tina and the background singers. Sometimes people will laugh and make fun, so they don't have to cry We didn't have cancelled culture, in the 1990's. Shows like Mad TV, In living color and etc made fun of sensitive topics, that would not be acceptable to make fun of now. Like drug abuse, Whitney and Bobby Brown, to catch a predator and etc. If shows did this today, they would be cancelled or people would protest like they tried with David Chappelle when he hosted Saturday night live last year.

People tried to cancel "Marriage With Children", "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie", Pro Wrestling, Rap Music, Rock Music, In Living Color, Mad Tv, Def Comedy Jam, South Park, The Power Rangers to a point they had to make P.S.As cause of the complaining about their weapons, Family Guy, made Oprah Winfrey clean up her show cause in the beginning she had strippers and full on racists on her show now all she is known for is recommending books because of Cancel Culture in the 1990s, Barney the Dinosaur, The Jerry Springer Show, complained about Saturday Morning Cartoons being too violent for kids and they actually canceled The Man Show.. Old Heads just have nostalgic about how great things was while forgetting all the nonsense that happened back then..

This sort of comedy would never be able to be aired today. The Cancel Troops would tear it down so fast, which is sad. I LOVED In Living Color (& MAD TV) 😊

I'm watching this right after the passing of Tina Turner. She was a gifted singer and entertainer who went through a lot of hard times with Ike, but I think we need to try and laugh about the hard times because it's better than crying.
Thank God I was born at the right time. I was 10 years old when In Living Color debuted, and it was way more funny than SNL. In Living Color was getting away with shit that SNL could only dream about doing, and get away with!
