Hey everyone and thanks for checking out my channel!
I'm just a regular guy living in the Big Apple with a passion for aviation and travel. This is just a hobby for me and I work on these videos whenever I'm able to pull myself away from my 9-5. As such, the content and quality might be a bit limited, but I'm just happy to share some of my experiences with all of you.
With that said, please enjoy and consider subscribing if you haven't done so already!
Ok so a bit overdramatic and nitpicky on some aspects and well the lavatory bit is justifiable. but as a frequent flier to tunisia, for that price range you'd be hard pressed to find anything better. plus it's almost always fully booked
I rarely post negative reviews, but this was the exception. The cabin was dirty, many of the IFE screens didn't work, it was nearly impossible to recline the seats, and the outlets were broken. We also landed almost an hour late and this flight has a track record of delays. You can book a flight with Royal Air Maroc from YUL to TUN for a similar price and have a much better experience.
@@nycflyertravel even with air maroc you will experience lateness. Nothing you can do about it because it's mostly due to problems in Tunis Carthage airport. For the influx of traffic the airport receives it is fairly small
Nice! Hawaiian is really a cut above other domestic airlines. I’ve done four round trips from JFK-HNL with my adult children (we’ve stayed on the other main islands, much nicer than Honolulu). Believe it or not, one of my good friends is an HA captain, and after eight flights, we finally coordinated our schedules and he flew us back. We felt like celebrities! Btw, the 330s will be scheduled elsewhere once 787 begins; the Dreamliners will be flying the JFK and BOS routes. Unfortunately, my friend is staying with the 330, so I likely won’t see him much anymore.
@@nycflyertravel It was actually crazy! We almost had a medical diversion - my friend was on his break, but they hear emergency announcements in the crew compartment. He first thought it was ME, because I have some serious medical issues. So he went rushing up to my seat, but said I was asleep snoring! It was a teenage girl with a peanut allergy, and she went into anaphylaxis, so we turned toward Denver. But she recovered and we continued on to JFK. It had been in the 80s in Hawaii, but in the 20s in NYC, so it was pretty shocking. I took the captain, after everyone had napped during the day, to Lincoln Center that evening.
I’ve definitely heard of this airline. They sure did use every single inch of that 737! Looks like you had zero legroom.Sounds like Korean Air was the way to go! Thanks for the video.❤️✈️
I've been to Tunisia years ago we also flew with tunis air on their b737 going home we had a 4 hour delay. Bit Tunisia is a beautiful country in my opinion.
That meal was perfect, dry cured meat and after you drink 2-3 beers and can sleep 😂 way better than other compagnies and their " chicken or beef " options... 🇷🇸💪
bro i think i was also on ur flight! i was heading to milan to meet my cousins, and we have the same plane, airline, and aircraft! and same country. I was also in econemey
lol i flew uzbek air back in 2017 from almaty to Delhi with a stop in Amritsar. During the Amritsar stop one drunk uncle decided to get up while awaiting the attendants to close the doors again and lit up a cigarette. After a few drags of the cigarette an attendant came by and slapped the cigarette out of his face.....gotta love the straightforward hospitality of Uzbek air.
I have been to Algeria, must say it was one one of the worst places i have been to and i have been to 108 countries, I really at one point i was being kidnapped. Visa was easy for me as my company had an office in Algiers and they sorted me a visa on a Canadian passport. Flew there via Air Algiere and it was a ok flight, only 1 hr from Tunis but really not worth it unless you want a real adventure and to tick a country off the map
@@Captainriad made the mistake of traveling overland from Constantine to Tunis back in 2008, the worst experience of my life and not a nice country, sorry if the truth offends.
@@danielpeter960 well . I'm flying there every summer . & I doubt your claims . Nice country & generous people + there is plenty of RU-vid content about it . (You know where to put your opinion)
I mean, the flight ticket in economy for one way is only 400-600TND. So for the money you are getting decent food, nice economy class seats that aren't cramped, and in-flight entertainment which is usually seen on more expensive airlines. So for the value of money it's 4 stars, in my opinion.
I tracked the price of this flight for about two years and I never saw it for close to 400-600 TND. The cheapest I can find a one way flight for right now is 578 USD. While the seats weren’t cramped they were dirty and falling apart. The toilets were held together with duct tape and they ran out of toilet paper mid flight. As far as IFE goes, Norse Atlantic has one way flights from New York to London for under $150 and they have IFE.
@@nycflyertravel I dont understand what you expect the price to be, the price is about 1800TND for a 9h flight, when I say tickets are about (400TND one-way/ 700-800 round trip). I meant shorter flight such as 3h flights from Tunis-Istanbul for example, and you have also mentioned that there are issues with the seat reclining but there is very nice and helpful crew to assist. When your talking about a dirty cabin I am a frequent flyer with Tunisair and that isn't very dirty, minor stains or debree isnt much of a big issue. And us Tunisians do not accpreciate content creators like you shaming our country's largest airline, that is what you get for the price. Not to mention, there are flights as low as 300TND all the way to Europe with decent food, leg space, and in-flight entertainment system, this is just being overdramatic.
@@mohamed-tt2nr this video only concerns Tunisair’s A330 service to Canada. You should watch the video I made about flying with them to London where I was very complimentary about Tunisair. This review is very honest.
Hello my friends, i am from Uzbekistan,i think you should come here for enjoying because in Uzbekistan, there are a lot of great, historical places. We are also very popular with our national dresses and dishes you can come here when you get bored ❤❤❤❤
Polaris flight serve drinks I plastic cup, Eva, ANA, Cathayair serve drinks in glass or champagne glass if you ordering champs, they serve from salad, appetizers, dinner and desert one after the other, never serve in a tray like economy class, what a joke, you probably didn’t fly bus or first class international on Asian airlines .

I’m a frequent flier on Emirates and enjoy their first class service. During the pandemic several companies including Emirates were cost cutting for sustainability long term. However- my loyalty is primarily with Singapore Airlines and Qatar, the most consistently impressive in almost every way. But Emirates is excellent with their dinner and breakfast service. The wine list is also very impressive.
Highly highly recommend doing the DXB to Geneva service, the last time I flew that route I was in the new first class on a 773. And I believe that route will have the 777X when they are finally delivered!
I flew recently on a United ex-Continental 757-200 from LA to Newark. It had new seats and entertainment systems installed in 2021. The seat design was pretty good for 5 hours flying time. Was actually more comfortable than the economy seats on the UA 787-10. Generally a comfortable cruiser.
Ah the excellent 757 - possibly Boeing’s best narrow body! I have many fond memories of flying this model on the BA “shuttle” between MAN & LHR. Happy days! Nice to see yours had Rolls Royce 🇬🇧 engines too, no doubt a Continental Airlines legacy! Another superb video buddy! 👍
This was my parents plane on February 29th 2024 they found N29129 much better than the returning B737-924. However it ended up breaking down on April 28th 2024 due to a mechanical issue when it did UA2321 EWR-LAX after flying in from Ireland that day. For that flight they ended up replacing N29129 with the California special livery on April 28th 2024.
I wish I could easily travel from one country to another, unfortunately in these nazi times, countries prohibit me to visit their country just because of the place I was born on
@@cxbble Russia, around a hundred of countries made it impossible either to even enter to their countries or get their visas for Russians, no matter if they don’t support the war… a real nazism that nobody talks about
Great Review as always! If you didn't know, you were really lucky! N29129 is one of the few 757s that had the new economy seats with the large IFE screens and better padded seats!
As far as we can tell the earliest that we might see the 787 for the east coast flights might be middle of 2025.we still have two more round trips from Honolulu to Boston before the end of year and it'll be on Airbus A330.
