It is a very long story how I came to find out about you...which began actually back in 1992...but without going into all the detail, yesterday, I was given a dream, and as I prayed about the dream, I was given a vision of the original Star Ship Enterprise from Star Trek, which reminded me of what happened in my life back in 1992. Then, as I was praying about all this this morning, asking the Lord what this all meant, I heard the name, Godwin. I began researching this name, and in addition to learning that one of the meanings of the name is Friend of God, I came across you, and the fact that you were a former astronaut. I have been following space exploration and aviation since the early 60's...though unlike you, at 61 years old, I have yet to fulfill any of those things. I'm not exactly sure what w ill come of this contact, but both my wife Carrie and myself (Richard), are interested in exploring this a bit further if that would be of interest to you? Mizzou (especially engineering) will not help you in any way. Professors only care about their research and will never help a student gain access to resources in their labs. No one will help connect you with career resources. Please consider other schools before Mizzou. Please.
