I just got one of these cameras in a lot of cameras. It doesn’t seem to have a focusing lens or mirror. Do you know where to get parts? I’m having such a hard time finding information.
@perkdawg_

@@delisaoutside You can always buy "for parts" cameras on ebay or elsewhere and take parts from them. That is probably the most cost effective way

A student at the University of Washington that year, I was at this concert with a friend. We were completely blown away; I remember it as one of the best concerts of my life. With great foresight, the UW music department had various folk, jazz and blues musicians come to play on campus. They would film them performing in an auditorium in the music department.

Nobody can play autoharp like this . I fooled around with one in a music store once , they are alot of fun but to play one with this level of melodic accuracy is hard, most just strum chords but he is actually picking notes

Ils étaient vingt et cent, ils étaient des milliers / They were twenty and one hundred, they were thousands Nus et maigres, tremblants, dans ces wagons plombés / Naked and emaciated, shivering, in the leaden train cars Qui déchiraient la nuit de leurs ongles battants / Who tore at the night with their fighting fingernails Ils étaient des milliers, ils étaient vingt et cent / They were thousands, they were twenty and one hundred Ils se croyaient des hommes, n'étaient plus que des nombres / They believed they were men, were nothing more than numbers Depuis longtemps, leurs dés avaient été jetés / It had been a long time since their dice had been rolled Dès que la main retombe, il ne reste qu'une ombre / The moment the hand fell back down, nothing remained but a shadow Ils ne devaient jamais plus revoir un été / They were not meant to ever see another summer. La fuite monotone et sans hâte du temps / The monotonous and unhasty flight of time Survivre encore un jour, une heure, obstinément / To survive one more day, one hour, obstinately Combien de tours de roues, d'arrêts et de départs / How many rotations of the wheels, how many stops and starts Qui n'en finissent pas de distiller l'espoir / That never cease making their hope evaporate Ils s'appelaient Jean-Pierre, Natacha ou Samuel / Their names were Jean-Pierre, Natasha, or Samuel Certains priaient Jésus, Jéhovah ou Vishnou / Some prayed to Jesus, Jehovah, or Vishnu D'autres ne priaient pas, mais qu'importe le ciel / Others didn't pray, but whatever the heaven Ils voulaient simplement ne plus vivre à genoux / The just wanted to no longer live on their knees Ils n'arrivaient pas tous à la fin du voyage / They didn't all make it to the end of the vogage Ceux qui sont revenus peuvent-ils être heureux ? / Could those who came back be happy? Ils essaient d'oublier, étonnés qu'à leur âge / They tried to forget, astounded that at their age Les veines de leurs bras soient devenues si bleue / The veins in their arms had become so blue Les Allemands guettaient du haut des miradors / The Germans stood in ambush in their guard towers La lune se taisait comme vous vous taisiez / The moon said nothing the same as you said nothing En regardant au loin, en regardant dehors / While looking into the distance, while looking outside Votre chair était tendre à leurs chiens policiers / Your flesh was so tender to their police dogs On me dit à présent que ces mots n'ont plus cours / People tell me that these days, these words are old-fashioned Qu'il vaut mieux ne chanter que des chansons d'amour / That it's better to sing nothing but love songs Que le sang sèche vite en entrant dans l'histoire / That blood dries quickly as it passes into history Et qu'il ne sert à rien de prendre une guitare / And that it serves no purpose to pick up a guitar Mais qui donc est de taille à pouvoir m'arrêter ? / But who has the guts to be able to stop me? L'ombre s'est faite humaine, aujourd'hui c'est l'été / The shadow has turned into a human being, today it is summer Je twisterais les mots s'il fallait les twister / I would twist the words if I had to twist them Pour qu'un jour les enfants sachent qui vous étiez / So that one day, children know who you were Vous étiez vingt et cent, vous étiez des milliers / You were twenty and one hundred, you were thousands Nus et maigres, tremblants, dans ces wagons plombés / Naked and emaciated, shivering in those leaden train cars Qui déchiriez la nuit de vos ongles battants / Who tore at the night with your fighting fingernails Vous étiez des milliers, vous étiez vingt et cent / You were thousands, you were twenty and one hundred

I heard a story that Kilby Snow was playing with his children and he started playing on all of their autoharps one at a time. He was innovative! We follow rules with instruments, and it is so fun when we don't. I play a song called Kudzu Covered Land that I wrote by singing into a digital tuner and then writing down the note/chord. My song doesn't follow THE rules. I made a picture using musical notation after dreaming of the Titanic during the 100th anniversary of the sinking. Musicians told me all the mistakes I made. :)

Not exactly. He's picking the melody with his index & middle fingers, while using his thumb for pinches and strums.

I did find a newspaper from Feb. 12th 1970 that mentioned a live performance of Kilby Snow and Mike Seeger playing "mountain and bluegrass music" at the Court C Coffeehouse in Tacoma, WA on Feb. 18th. I suppose this footage could be from that but I suspect Kilby and Mike just put on a separate live show shortly before or after this performance was recorded.
