currently lying in bed just clearing the cobwebs of my mind. Can’t believe I’m turning 24 in a couple of months. I’ve spent the last 2 years unemployed and basically just leeching off my parents. This permanent vacation shit is getting really depressing and boring. I have no idea what I’m gonna do next. Just wanted you to know that this video brought some relief to my current, stagnant situation. It really is the little things that get you through life huh?
maybe he feels he's being judged by the shocked reactions. At my college student dominated job, people are always shocked that I'm 23, they always assume I'm like 19. But I don't feel like it makes much of a difference, I'll probably live longer than them so it's basically the same.
There are kinda too many generalizations... So many that you smudge the facts and truth with them. I've met quite a bunch of smart people who are pleasant to talk to and are an inspiration to me. I'm looking forward to meeting them again. And, btw, dumb people don't learn because they don't want to. If you want to learn, then you're smart because you know you don't understand much. I've met a lot of dumb people with nothing on their faces and in their eyes. That's the same as looking in the eyes of a dead animal. And these people would never, ever, ever want to become someone as complicated as an engineer. They would be interested only in pursuing their instinctual desires. Not intellectual. If a problem they have to deal with is an intellectual problem - they disappear. The people you're talking about are smart enough to understand that they need brains to survive.
23 is young in my arch class lmao, I did a foundation year so im 20 and so theres a few ppl thats 18 or 19. But then theres also ppl in their mid 20s and some in their 30s and 40s.
There is not an age restriction in Turkey. You can take YKS ( Country wide exam for nearly all universities containing both private and public schools.) and if you manage to get enough points you can attend to any college and there is a special 34 years old or older woman special contingents in some colleges.
In my country there's age minimum to going on bachelor degree for national college (college who run by the government). If you off the limit, then your choice applied to private college (run by foundation or non-governmental organization). But, Idk I think there's also age limit on that as well. Luckily, we have this one college that acknowledged as the "life saver of employed student" because it accepted you however old you are and the schedule is flexible for people who working, you can attend it online untill graduation without setting a foot to it even once. It's not revolutionary I know many countries have it, but it's just we need to go this specific institution to continue study. "Life-long" learner they said.
bItch I am at 31 and stuyding undergrad in Math and i also give 0 fucks above college life. I mean I already did that, so for me is work, school and fun with my pc for weekends
At 3mins i think the answer was talking about being a PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER. meaning licensed with a PE. U do have to work 4 years first to qualify to test for that, even after school.
I went back at 27, during undergrad I felt somewhat judged by students, but age worked to my advantage in grad school. Just wait all, sometimes you blow your back out rolling over in your sleep.
If you leave a like on this video, you will have something in common with a bunch of other cool people and then you can use that commonality as a conversation starter 😯
Ngl its annoying when people don’t consider many options. One time I had an a creative idea and bro was like “ In the laws of physics thats impossible” Laws of Physics okay bud; I understand is useful but what about the whole “Nothing is impossible” idea. Heck everybody thinks Nikola tesla with whole electromagnetic device in the air doesn’t apply to physics. But at least he was trying vs the know it alls
Here in brazil studying mechanical engineer you discover a lot of opportunity to make money. Isnt uncommon for people drop after 2 or 3 years because they started a company. When you try to resume later you lost a year+ of you graduation. It take 5 years to major in any engineering here. If you try to have a full time job and keep your graduation you will fail a few class, making even longer.
@@GauruvVirkfinished up 9A and waiting on the curve today LOL by the way, how do you organize your internship stuff and a balance internships and school? Any fun clubs or advice for Davis and getting more ur of enginerring
I turned 24 in April 26th and man I’ve wasted my years 16-23 :( I have so much to do in life and I hope I can execute my plan by 26 🙏 I guess I still got a lot of time but it doesn’t feel like it I wasted 8 years 8YEARS
I feel that any time alive is not wasted - and if anything, those years have given you the perspective that you possess today - now make sure to use that perspective to make the decisions that are worthwhile to you 🤝
I would agree with what he is saying however I do have an issue with this explination and that is a our wayer vapor disipates to where you can't see the water in the atmosphere within a aecond or two they don't linger around and then form man made clouds. I have also recorded air plane con trails that linger for half a minute and do not linger or form clouds either. Now it is said that it depends on the temperature or the humidity in the atmosphere if they will linger or not that I don't know for sure. Maybe many modern planes emit leaner vapor which may have more water in the exhaust again I don't know. But here is something I do know and that is airplane contrails did not used to linger in the past pre 2000's like they do today. So my question would be is if these clouds are theowing our climate out of whack since water vapor is almost the same as cloud seeding which changes and effects the environent. Dubai cloud seeds their city to get rain and I think this subject needs to be explored more aince it is already a fact that airplanes are one of the biggest contributors to climate change.
