When I drag the actual horizontal video clip to the vertical timeline, my project looks like yours. But when I drag the horizontal timeline into the new vertical timeline, my result does not look like yours. In the new timeline, the horizontal video is automatically scaled, I think it's Fill, the video fills the vertical screen, I see the center of the horizontal image, but I can't see the two sides of the horizontal video. When I try to change scaling in the vertical time line, it has no effect. Apparently I am not the only one having this problem. There is a post about it in Blackmagic Forum: "Is this normal ? Import horizontal sequence in vertical one". Ok, it looks like I solved my problem. On my vertical timeline Timeline Settings, I changed the Mismatched Resolution to "Scale entire image to fit", from "Scale full frame with crop".

what he fails to mention is that when ANYTHING is played for money, a Race, a Sport, a Video game... there is Financial incentive to cheat to get an edge on the competition... and most people take that edge... Racers cars are not created equal even though they look like it, you put your face driver in your fleet's fastest car because that'll make you the most money... the jobbers in the slower cars may be just as good but because they aren't as marketable, they get worse shit... its a not well kept secret in Nascar, in Formula one, in all forms of racing... With sports, everyone is on something, the scandals only come out when a test gets a little more accurate and you have someone doping with a method that is slightly outdated... most PED aren't detectable by any test. and Finally video games, the vast majority of cheat software is undetectable... and its long been known theres a streamer whitelist for CoD and Battlefield titles, where certain accounts will not be banned for running cheats... this dude is just a shill for the publisher's lil free advert bots.
