Hey! I can't find the 2nd "macro" part to this... How can I apply all of this to my future clips?

i have have a problem where the fusion dosent go 1080 by 1920 it just stays a 1920 by 1080

When I drag the actual horizontal video clip to the vertical timeline, my project looks like yours. But when I drag the horizontal timeline into the new vertical timeline, my result does not look like yours. In the new timeline, the horizontal video is automatically scaled, I think it's Fill, the video fills the vertical screen, I see the center of the horizontal image, but I can't see the two sides of the horizontal video. When I try to change scaling in the vertical time line, it has no effect. Apparently I am not the only one having this problem. There is a post about it in Blackmagic Forum: "Is this normal ? Import horizontal sequence in vertical one". Ok, it looks like I solved my problem. On my vertical timeline Timeline Settings, I changed the Mismatched Resolution to "Scale entire image to fit", from "Scale full frame with crop".

what if we dont want the blur and just the full size 9:16

When putting it to fusion I have black background ? Any it blocks the blur from showing

For a newbie on resolve . this doesn't work - every time I make the timeline 2 to 1080x1920 it resizing the video to fit it doesn't keep the clip the right size

you need to explain things better and low down !!! your just jumping from step to step as if we already know what your taking about.. good video through just not geared for a beginner to follow

Hello! I’m also using resolve and whenever I insert the clip to the video 1 and audio 1 in edit the things such as the gun in the bottom right, the thing that shows whenever I get a one shot one kill, it doesn’t stay still like in the original clip. But whenever I don’t put the clip in the editing with video 1 and just play it normally it doesn’t show. Do you know a fix for this?

Is it still 1080 X 1929 if you record in 1440?
