Since he missed out a lot of relevant info... The battery box is held in position on the scooter by its power connector on the underside of the box, plus Velcro style tape, and gravity. To remove the screws on the bottom of the box... I can't tell the size, but he used a long 'cross head' screwdriver - also referred to as a 'Phillips head' screwdriver - and then a little magnet on the end of an extendable stalk. Assuming most people don't have a magnet... The screws will fall out of their holes when you turn over the box to be able to lift off the top cover. Make sure you keep track of them when they do fall out. If you put a small piece of sticky tape over each hole before you turn the box over, the screws will stick to that and not get lost. The two batteries inside the box are standard 'deep cycle sealed lead acid' batteries. They're '18-12' batteries. (Also known as '12v 18Ah' or 12 volt, 18 amp hour batteries.) You can get various different brands and styles/capacities on Amazon and eBay, Walmart, Autozone, Nappa, etc. He didn't share what size socket/wrenches he used to remove the wires from the batteries, but to be honest yours might be different anyway so that's forgivable. The batteries are held in place by more Velcro style tape which is why they needed to be wiggled & pulled up. He replaced the original batteries with two slightly heavier & longer lasting ones = 12v 22Ah. He did not replace or even reuse the Velcro tape on the bottom of the new batteries, but you really should use it, for safety sake. Many batteries come ready charged. However, they'll hold more charge and last longer if they're fully charged again before being used, ideally for 12 hours. That can also be done using an ordinary car battery charger before they're installed if you can get by with using the old ones for a while. You're welcome. 😁
Hi. I followed your video tutorial and was able to replace the hose in my washing machine. Thanks! I have another problem now. My washing machine drum won't spin even when it is empty. It starts to fill with water and then stops at the point the drum would start spinning. I can drain the water so I know none of the hoses are clogged. The belt is on the wheel at the back of the machine correctly and not worn out. I plan on buying a new washing machine in two months when we move, and would really love for our current washing machine to last two more months if possible. Does this sound like something I could maybe fix myself? Do you think it's a sensor in the machine that controls the belt? That sounds like a job for a repair person. Thanks so much for your help.
I also tried closing the door six times to do a reset, but that didn't help. The door does lock when I try to start a wash. Does that mean that the door lock is ok?
Hi, To replace the waste pipe shouldn’t have effect on spinning. Have you checked the carbon brush? If it’s worn out not enough power to move the drum. I have no other idea without testing.
@@georgesworkshop8600 thanks! I looked up carbon brushes and it sounds like this could be the problem. I will probably have to call a repairman. Thanks for your help!!
@@georgesworkshop8600 you were right! The carbon brushes needed to be replaced. I had a professional repairman do it. I will need to get a new washer eventually. What brands have the fewest problems and are the easiest to work on? Some seem like you have to take the whole washer apart to get to the parts inside. Thanks!
It makes me irrationally angry Google puts the most scammy/bullshit ads on videos aimed at products for the elderly. Not the fault of the content creator, but good lord.
I have the same machine same problem, fitted new heatsing element and control board same problem no heat, all lights flashing after few minutes,at a loss now
@@georgesworkshop8600 Yeh, so I took off the door seal as you showed, great. It has two wearout "tears" where the folds seems to have rubbed on themselves (design fault?). Anyway Beko parts come every quickly and not expensive (£40 with fast delivery). After seeing your vid I have made a special tool to spread the door band spring (bit like external circlip pliars), I will be doing a solo install and a spring spreader should make this job go well. Thanks again :)
Thank you so so much! This worked on my moms drive scout mobility scooter, I just put new batteries in and the dumb thing kept beeping 5 times red lower left red light with full batteries and I had already switched it from neutral to drive but not correctly with the key off! Thank you Thank you!
I have this tumble dryer but my control panel doesn't light up and no sound when i move the dial. I've checked the socket and the fuse nothing wrong there. any idea what what i can do fix this please.
What would be the causing this error E41 or E40 if the door lock has been changed? My washing machine tripped the main fuse and now keeps showing E40 error. Bought a brand new door lock, still the same. What would be next steps of fixing?
OK, so watched your video after my dryer stopped working. Bought a new drain pump motor, but the 'wheel' in it spins, before i even lift the metal thing or select a program or anything 😂 what am i doing wrong?
Hi, I don’t think you did anything wrong. This is quite normal. When it switched on the machine starts with a short pump, probably you seen that. Is the program running?
I cleaned& emptied everything but my machine wouldn’t work then I came across your video. I followed your video & found it was full of water! Emptied it and now it’s working again! Thank you sooooo much!!!
Thought this video would be helpful ffs, ye we will have this equipment lying around and a spare drainer pump, thanks for nothing waste of time watching this video
Hi, For the repair I used only 1 screwdriver, and used that cheap multimeter to explain my actions. If the pump is broken there is no other way to fix it, must replace it. I never thought everyone has a replacement pump at home, but easily and quickly can buy from ebay if you want to fix your machine. I hope you found other video on RU-vid to fix your dryer much easier way.
Hi, This is a safety solution. But without a proper clean, remove all deposited fluff around the drum and wires it will give a temporary fix. With a good clean it could work for a while again.
My charging port is below the seat. I'm thin 71, and can't connect the charger. I'm not strong enough. Got on the floor to do it and I had to call the fire department to get me up off the floor. Need to trade up to an easier model to charge. No one ever answers the phone or call you back. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
