I did this, and even tried to clear the code with my scanner . The code did not disappear so I took it to the dealer and they said they would order the part and it would be here in about a week. After several days the code cleared itself:-)
Once my 2501 is out of warranty I'm de-shimming the pump down to a .175" shim for more timing and power, and will bump the RPM limit to 2700rpm. I have the DT with R1 tires and wheel weights.
Thank you for the video. We are looking at getting our first tractor to help up get our little farm started. I was planning on getting a sub-compact tractor at first. Then I started looking at Hay availability in my area as we are planning on keeping a single milk cow to supply our family, and it seemed impossible to locate square bales and ruled out a BX/B model. That’s led me to the L2501/2 and you’ve just showed me that it should be as capable as I would need it to be! God bless!
My husband actually broke mine trying to add fuel without using the funnel. We have the assembly, but cannot find a how-to for replacement. Can anyone help???
No it does not. You can program it for certain tempretures at different times of the day (I go over that in another video).... and we are saving quite a bit on our energy bill. It definitely payed for itself by now!
Hi, when I installed and tried to pair, mysa app asks that it wants to connect using WiFi temporarily and then wifi signal loses and then thermostat never gets registered on the network. I have kept trying for 2 days. WiFi is already 2.4 GHz and thermostat works manually but not through the app. Any suggestions how to pair the thermostats with my android?
Just installed mine. They are great but the UI has a bit of a learning curve. Also if there is a lot of wiring in the box they can be hard to sit flush.
I'm not doubting your tip but how exactly does this work or reset the sensor? Just curious, I like to know how things work cause well...I'm weird I guess 😅
I think by doing this process you are telling you ECM that it needs to relearn the TPS position as time goes by the resistance in the sensor would be slightly differant then when it was new and therefore as the truck gets older it seems like it does not respond like it used to... (that is my theory but i could be wrong)
i think it was at 5:50, not 4:30. But he called them "Marretts". A "Marrette" is a trade name (like Kleenex for tissue paper) and it's the name Canadians use for all wire nuts. It is based on the name of the original inventor of the wire nut named William Marr (a Scottish guy that emigrated to Canada in the early 20th Century :)
Yes it will IF the bales are dry and you have one on the rear 3 pt also or similar weighted ballast with loaded rear tires. I load and unload 100s of 4x5 bales with my 2501 each year. I can loan and unload double stacked gooseneck trailers which max out the lift height. You need to #1 be careful, #2 stay on level ground. #3 keep bale close to ground when moving. #4 Tilt bale back in order to obtain full lift height and don't do this until tractor movement is stopped. I can actually load and unload trailers at the barn faster with the 2501 HST than I can with my M7060 due the the HST. It just takes practice and knowing your limits and being careful as uneven ground, moving with the bale too high and sudden movements will still flip you over, even with ballast.
It gets the job done! but the working width is very small roughly 5-6 feet (I never measured just a guess) but the tractor i used in the video was pretty much maxed out weight wise. The rows can be adjusted by widening the arm.
Great job with this video. I have the L2501 DT, the gear drive version. I handle the big square bales with mine. I have a box blade on the rear and also have my tires loaded. They are very nice little tractors. I was a little concerned that 25 hp might be a bit on the underpowered side but mine does fine for the applications that I need it for. Thanks for sharing. How much are those bales weighing in at? Pretty impressive without rear ballast, are your tires loaded? I just got my 2501 and am wondering what kind of bales make the most sense in the future.
My guess would be 500 to 700 lbs, and yes the rear tires are loaded. It does get light in the rear end still. Best thing for me would be to make a balast box with a hitch welded to it so that i could haul the hay wagon with. That being said this little tractor is impresive for sure!
@@mr.diyguy9615 yes the rear does get light especially on a hill I was loading bills that were a simler size and when the rear left the grand not be much but it did my rest reashin was shit or just me thinking what mite happen because it was my dad's tractor and it's a kubota L4760 and we have a kubota B3200 that we yoes to rag trees out of the woods kubota are pretty dam capable
You did a very good job, on this video. except misleading everyone. When you went to the breaker box. You shut off a double breaker. It was 240 volts. A 240 volt circuit generally does not use a Neutral Wire, unless it's an appliance, that also uses 110 volts. You have 2 hot lines. running at 60 cycles a second. Half of the time one of the lines provide a return path for the current, the other half of the time the other line provides the return path. That's how you get 220 - 240 volts. The wire you called Neutral was Red, indicating it was a HOT line. L1 & L2
Useless for my condo. I have 4 individual heaters with a dial 1-5 heat adjustment. I thought this was for individual thermostats for each heater not a wall thermostat.
Your wiring this in a 120v configuration..so if it is a 240 volt installation L2 is a hot wire, (no neutral required). You dont need a neutral to wire this..they are dual 120 240 volt ..just pick your application..good video..just thought i would add this 👍
Im not sure… Try contacting an electrician for something like that. I think it may be possible but probably cheaper to get a new heater and installing the thermostat separately.
You can either leave the thermostat in, and just turn it to the FULL ON position, (so that it's always on, and your NEW one will provide electricity when it needs it), OR just remove it! There are plenty of videos showing the the correct wiring and connecting.
If u wanna help keep this from happening again and u live near a lot of dirt i found that if u buy the gas cap lock for these and go to ur hardware store and get an o ring that fits perfectly on the cap lock and rub a little lube on there it will seal it and keep any dirt form getting In there I did this a few years ago and haven’t had any problems with it since then
