I am a designer maker who works mainly with wood, but also branches out in to plastic, metal and many other materials. I'm passionate about creating and hope that my channel will inspire others to make something truly unique.
Love it…. Bought it Bought it without seeing your video today - printed it today Searched, found & watched your excellent, excellent video tonight Now, can’t wait… I’m part of ‘Men In Sheds’. This is my second purchase, such distinct plans. Thank you - Peter. :-))
Man you make some cool stuff out if wood! "and metal & leather etc" A joy to watch this video and how the barrel was put together. I admire your imagination to keep coming up with great ideas and sharing your knowledge. Well done. One Handed Maker - Australia P.S have subscribed
I like the supports you built for each side of the miter saw without building it down into the work bench. I'm settling into my wife's grandfather's old woodworking shop so I'm hesitant to cut the counters up. Thank you!
Last year I made a 31" bandsaw reindeer. It ended up being pretty good, and much easier to sand. Big enough for a string of Christmas lights on the antler. And 2 google eyes of course. 😁
You have a good Christmas too. I enjoyed your video and thank you for sharing. I have just upgraded my W721 to a B 350 and that is only the second Charnwood bandsaw I have seen on RU-vid 🌞
I was thinking about making something similar to this for a buddy but sadly I don't have a lathe any idea of how I could change this design to work without one?
Thanks for watching, I suppose you could just make small box with a pillar that sticks up through the lid and then just file the ring section as rounds as you can. if you compound mitred your joints it could look really good
Yup, put blue tape on the wood before spraying with adhesive. The pattern will stick and the tape will peel off easily. Verbal guidance or more detailed written directions would have been helpful. It took two of us to figure out that you were making just one deer at a time and not three!! Lol
I will quote Mr. Johnson, my 8th grade wood shop teacher: " You did a pretty good job on this. But I saw you spreading glue with your fingers so I have to give you an F"
Great design. not watched quite as much as the viking slot chair, but you never know when these things take off. I made a video in january, the first 6 months it had less than 100 views, then it picked up and got 4,500 in a month and still going strong.
