Hey! I’ve been following you for years and read this book when I heard you recommend it back in 2019. It made me fall in love with Becky chambers and opened up a whole new world of reading for me. In general, watching your videos back then helped reignite a fervour for reading for me and brought me so many queer books that I have loved. Thank you!!
Idk if im gonna get to many queer books this pride month. Ive been reading really slow lately and im strictly trying to get myself to finish a few books that i meant to have finished by early mid may
Totally get what you mean. I have been in a book slump for so long, I can't really plan out my reading too much. I have to go with what feels right in the moment or I just get distracted and can't finish whatever book I've started. What are you trying to finish reading right now?
I have a queer adult book recommendation for you. Eddie & Alan is written by black gay author Anthony Amiewalan. It sheds light on the complexities of relationships between men, the fluidity of sexuality, and what happens when the lines are blurred.

Iʻm so glad I found this reading blog/review of Fireborne. I only recently finished listening to it (I listen to audiobooks when I run) and for the first time (maybe ever) after finishing I re-started it again rather than move on to another book. Iʻm glad someone else is talking about this book and liking it for the same reasons I did. The tension isnʻt cause there are some cartoon villains, or cause two characters didnʻt talk. Itʻs proof that thereʻs enough difficulty in situations that you don't need the lazy "didn't talk" issue to be the reason something happened. Or that cause there is conflict, doesn't mean that everyone now needs to become horrible people in reaction.
As somewhat of an alpha male ... I absolutley love this show, it's genius, great cast great writing and amazing songs. If you have not seen this show you really should you will not be disappointed
I'm sorry, but the backlash on all this queer takeover of the media is already enormous. Your agenda is not going to succeed. Deal with it and be happy for who you are and keep your sexuality to yourself.
I forgot Motorcrossed! 😅 That was a good one but I would argue that High School Musical 2 is even gayer with that baseball scene 🙃 still I like your recommendations and will check them out
My favorite tv show American Horror Story seasons titled they were renewed for 3 more seasons up to season 13 in January of 2020. Season 1: Murder House 2011 Season 2: Asylum 2012-13 Season 3: Coven 2013-14 Season 4: Freak Show 2014-15 Season 5: Hotel 2015-16 Season 6: Roanoke 2016 Season 7: Cult 2017 Season 8: Apocalypse 2018 Season 9: 1984 2019 Season 10: Double Feature 2021 Season 11: NYC 2022 Season 12: Delicate 2023-24
I miss you content I hope you’re doing well Cece! I’ve been rewatching your videos recently because I love to hear your thoughts and you always introduce me to new amazing books that are more inclusive to LGBTQIA+.
Unfortunately i dont feel Chaol is innocent and i do think he sucks honestly. And chaol blamed her back for thing that aren't her fault so i feel like this response is just biased
I know I am in the vast minority here... I like the original movie more than the Nelflix movie. I think that the child actors are better. Carey makes for a more sinister Count Olaf than Harris. The script was better. The scenery and music were better. For me, it is no mystery which one is the better adaptation.
YES! The books gave all the good of Ron and Ginny to Hermione. No wonder many were surprised Harry and Hermione did not get together. Ron was the glue, and Harry needed the Weasley's one and all
I like the book, grabbed the rest up to. However one thing I don’t like is how everyone keeps mentioning going back to normal in some way or other. I know that it’s like naive hope and desperation on their parts. What they need to endure I mean. But like come on, it annoys me a little cause that view is stupid. We can’t move the moon so it’s never going to change until all life on earth dies billions of years later unless an asteroid knocks it away again. That’s the new normal. For the rest of human history. Anyway enjoying the book so far. Also when Miranda said she wished the astronauts had blown up the moon when they got there. I laughed and said out loud, “No you don’t!” Cause than it would’ve been an entirely different type of bad since before she was born. Still I’ll give her a pass cause she didn’t know any better with the thought.
