My first rehearsal amp I tried to make work with a drummer was Rocktron Replitone. Sounded great sitting in a room playing it. Sounded AWFUL at any volume because it didn't have the wattage required to push a 12" speaker enough to be audible over drums without breaking up. Bad. Lol So I scrimped and saved from my part time job at Arbys for almost a year and bought a Randall RH100 head and found two 4x12 cabs used to play it through. It was literally like night and day.

A Floyd Rose Special starts at $89.00 ok. Most starting guitarists may not be tool friendly. Lol. I luv Floyd Rose trems. And I actually just bought this guitar as a kit. Unfinished. But I just bought it for a 24 fret neck. With sharks. fin inlays ...fo I'm my next ML build. So. It's definitely worth it to me. Bec Used Ibanez RG. Dx. Are going for $300.+
I’ve been playing the hell out of a revenge for about a year, stoked on it. I do have some fret gaps(not fingernail sized) though they seem tight, maybe improper radius. Pickups were really microphonic, swapped them out. Bridge just barely intonates, no issues with tuners. It’s on par with squiers and epiphones I’ve had.
It looks like one of the Kiesel models that were really popular a few years ago. I have kind of gotten away from checking guitar like this out in my old age. Since I turned 40, it has been nothing but guitars that look like furniture. I guess the old ppl were correct when I was younger when they always said, 'your tastes will change'. Sure enough, they have.
I have the amp, 2 things. I think the clean channel sounds more dynamic with passive pick ups and 2. I have a Heavy Empress distortion pedal I run through it sounds absolutely amazing, you can probably get that depth and bass right with using a good distortion pedal or EQ. Enjoyed the video bro!

Hey Taylor, they also sell a extremly cheap "Warlock" clone guitar called the Harlem X, it also comes with a "Floyd Rose" but its a non name branded one, could be cool if you took a look at that, if its worth getting for your first locking trem guitar... cheers..
What a surprise! Thanx for laying trust in Gear4Music! They are very underexposed in the webs despite making quality gear! I got one 5-string bass and a 7-string guitar from them and both are AMAZING!! 🔥 It's just too bad that for some reason they discontinued the cool SubZero brand on their guitars/basses and replaced it with the much more generic and super dull sounding G4M brand 😓😓 I'm glad I got one of the very last SubZero 7-stringers with the cool blue burst color before they discontinued it!
AIO Guitars. Cheap imported guitars that are brought in and finished off with a luthier by hand. Really affordable, extremely good guitars. Check em out.
The only issue with the Floyd Rose Special is quality of the material. The blades and posts tend to chip out develop grooves pretty easily and quickly. As far as doing the thing, totally great, but longevity is not built into them
I agree with this. I think it depends on how hard you are on it as well, at a lower tension they seem to be fine. Once you start beefing up your string gauges and adding tension is where they tend to start having issues IME
I bought a Harlem headless which out of the box was unplayable so I did the fretwork reprofiked the neck to a slim c and changed the pick ups for a pair of £32 Vansons and now it's my favourite guitar I only paid £150 for it. If you don't mind doing the work they are fantastic
Luckly we can buy high speced electric guitars for a good price from this brand or Harley Benton f.ex. But why not other shapes than f.ex super strat or tele. What about something like a warrior, v, ml, lm stealth, iron bird, star with and without floyd rose...
Now do Gear4Music Saturn amp, please? They're reasonably priced for a tube amp (though I know it faces the same import issues) but the Gear4Music demos suck and you can't find anything about them.
The biggest limitation, for me, is that you can't turn off the IR for only one of the outputs. The Tonex, as far as I know, can't do this either. The ability to do captures is secondary, in my opinion. I'd say 99% of people buying this won't be doing captures, and those that do and do it well, might already have the big version.
Absolutely love the warrior. I used to hate the close position of the volume knob to the bridge pickup, but adjusting to it helped me realize I was wasting a lot of motion moving my right hand too much when playing. I've seen a lot of custom shop warriors where they deliberately move the knobs back, so I don't think we're the first people to feel that way about the stock knob placement.
UK resident here.... I have 5 G4M guitars (Subzero and Redsub branded) and yes, they are great value......but..... Don't expect them to be finished very well. You'll find things like.... the pickup switch wired the wrong way round.... massive scratches on the fretboard/neck..... digs out of the body... loose output jacks.....If that doesn't bother you then go for it as they are great for the money. Also, prepare for a pickup swap as all of the instruments I have received might as well just have a microphone instead.
