As for the heat in the winter around 85 to 90 if i shut it up tight and it's really sunning and temps are above the 40's . But the winter dries stuff faster and the humitiy dropes way down. If i load the kiln up in say late november or december I don't take the wood out till after late may . depends when i can get the heat above 130 ish. for 24 hrs
Sorry . In order to make the channel profitable, you have to be constantly putting out videos. Hopefully, over time, the watch times will improve, so that will help the profitable margins. I'm not that impressed with youtube payouts for all the work creators do.
@@southernadirondackoutdoors I understand that.. under paid and over worked seems to be a life story for most people. you have to have hundreds of thousands of subscribers to really make a few ok bucks. lucly for me my channel helps me show case my work and I get some lumber sales of it.
You may already know this but did you know that locust is iridescent and glows under uv lights. I've turned a couple of small bowls and couldn't believe it when I tested it.
no, I actualy did not know that.. that sounds realy cool. I'll have to try that. I've not turned any bowls in awhile.. I want to get back into it , for sure.
Do you mess around with much locust? That looks to be black locust. I have a bunch of big honey locust logs I'm thinking about milling, is it worth it?
I use it for many things. The lumber is hard to work with very dry. But has very nice grain patterns. Predrill to nail if it's dry. We use it in building projects like the barn as beams and posts on the lean to sections. It can be hard to fine good clear boards.
Look, a baby deere playing in the woods 😁🤣 I was going to ask if you had a camera person...the camera seems to be doing a good job following and zooming.
i would take replacing the fuel line too maybe you pick up debris from where you get your fuel at your tank had debris when you were filling the tank up from sawdust
I replaced the fule lines the last time and filter. New gas tank and yes the fule and gas tanks(to transport fule) are new. The main issue was gas in the oil.
The first two are gorgeous in that i could see making for a good solid finish with some variants to make whatever you make pop, but the second two are stunningly unique and i could see looking really interesting in a project. But both are beautiful cuts
did you talk to the manufacturer of the sawmill they do have Technical support they will know or then you think they do you may thing it the dumbest thing to do you are mistaking your smart to call the
I called several service techs. Woodmizer does not manufacture the engine like most manufactures. I can't bring the mill to a shop, so it's talk it threw. The problem has been solved. Thank you for watching.
