I am not performing well in the reading section - per passage 2 answers are always wrong including one choice of the 10th question. What should I do to improve this, I've my exam after 2 days.
Oh my God. I always thought I should give 2 reasons and 2 examples. It was worrying me because If I didn't have a second reason I would wouldn't get a good score.
Hi josh, I chose option A for question 5 and option D for question 8, but the answer key shows different options for passage 1. Could you please clarify this?
Hi Josh, i prepared for toefl in just two weeks of time, and all credit goes to you and your free contents. I scored 95, though my goal was to score 100. Is 95 a low score, for 2025, to get funding from institutions? I used to score better in reading section, but on test day this segment didnt go well for me, i was overthinking and didnt finish the last three questions . Do you have any advice for me?
Hi there and thank you for commenting. You have to contact the school of your choice in order to find out their requirements. Each school will have different admission criteria.
Hey Josh thank you for everything you do. I have been taking practice test on the Toelf official website and getting 3/4 , and sometimes 4/4 in the speaking section. I also took the complete test on the website and they scored me 25 - 30 on the speaking section. Now my score requirement is 26 on the speaking section, do you think I'm ready to go?.
Hi Josh. I really wanted to thank you so much for your tips and valuable materials. I only had 2 weeks to prepare for the test and I mainly used your channel and went through all the tests you have published. And I even did the same tests again just like you said in one of your tips, it was really helpful and improved my score a lot. Just got the results and it's 96\120{R:20,L:26, S:27, W:23} just the score I needed for my university. Once again thank you so much for your efforts 🤍🤍
I am really sorry for the delay. To start my reading score is 19 and listening scoreis 24 Reading second passage actually got me NGL My full score will be available next Saturday
Sir, I have a question about task three, mostly as I have seen the mock tests, there is nothing like you have to give a explainion about the passage only they are asking directly about the man or woman idea about new changes.. my concern is here should we directly state the students ideas, or there is need to start by explain a shortly the passage and then go to their points of view ??? Thank you sir for your helpful videos.🙏
Hi Josh, thanks for all the work and effort. Greatly appreciated! If I may, I'd like to ask a question regarding the Speaking Section. I don't use fill words such as "um" and so on, but use precise pauses instead. The TestReady E-Rater, however, scolds me everytime for this by pointing out that I didn't sustain speech. So, I'm curious whether this will be scolded on test day next Saturday, too. What is your take to improve the E-Rating Score? Getting a little nervous due this, to be honest. Templates working just fine, by the way. Kind regards :)
Hey Josh! Thank you so much for your incredible job, service to the world. I feel like you are my teacher and best friend as I was preparing for TOEFL through your videos last 6 months. I score 88/120 it was my first time taking it. R-19 / L-26 / S-21 / W-22 My analysis of what went wrong showed me that I didn’t practice enough two last sections. Also, the reading section was so tricky, much trickier than I anticipated. I got two passages on topics that I’m familiar with, however that was challenge. Will take one more month for preparation and retake it in December.
Fantastic performance! Congrats!!! If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you leave your review at this link - trustpilot.com? It will help people on Google learn about my site, TST Prep. Thanks again!
Personally speaking, I would prefer to work in a traditional office environment because it will allow me to learn new skills and I get the chance to explore more ideas from different team members. Additionally, it will help me to understand others' choices and opinions more effectively. It will foster my social understanding and ultimately enable me to connect with a variety of other people. Moreover, I will learn to manage time more effectively by working on different projects hands-on, which is an essential part of life for overall personal development.
It's a rather complicated question and the stance of a particular person depends on their own background. As someone who has experienced the negative effects of globalization personally while living in a developing country, I tend towards stating that globalizaation is more of a negative force for developing countries. I have had my friends talk about high stress levels in toxicity in their own companies. For instance, one particular friend who had been placed with a really great package in a well-renowned company named, Sprinklr, has complained about the toxic and stressful work culture at the office. And the same is the story with other companies who are expanding to developing countries like India. In fact, for the expectation of exploiting the indian employees by providing them low wages (comparative to USA or Europe but rather high salary in India), these companies prefer to keep their R&D department in India itself. But of course, I do agree with Bryan to some extend that it can bring some economic benefits to developing countries by bringing them new technologies and access to new markets. Man this sucks xd
Just wanted to say that I just got my score and I managed to get 114!!! Thank you so much for your videos! They were essential for me and I know I couldn't have done this test without them!
Congratulations and thank you for sharing. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you leave your review at this link - trustpilot.com? It will help people on Google learn about my site, TST Prep. Thanks again!
The link to access the answers doesn't work and this happens in all your videos. It always redirects to the same page to get the free test! Please share the answers with us!
Hi there and thank you for asking. When you sign up for a free test, you will receive an email with downloadable PDFs of reading, listening, speaking, and writing tests with answer keys. Hope this clarifies. You can always reach out at contact@tstprep.com if you have any additional questions about our practice materials.
Well, while we try our best to match the level of difficulty as the real TOEFL iBT, some people feel that our tests are a bit easier. There are some other RU-vid channels with TOEFL Reading practice, I would try them as well to see how you do.
