@@user-ff5jq3zu3z first i got familiar with the exam, how it was structured, what the question types were. then i studied each section one at a time for 1-2 days (lots and lots of practice tests!). at the end i focused on the speaking section, which imo is the hardest section on the exam. good luck!

Hi, Josh! I have a huge difficulty to respond these questions in just one minute, even two minutes, sometimes, is too short for me. The questions need much attention and interpretation and I'm not able to finish them without a proper time. Sometimes I need to read again and again, especially to see if there is some tricks. This section is really hard for me. Any advice for answering questions quickly? Anyway, I will improve myself... Thank you so much!

Hey Josh. Thank you very much for the free content. Is very useful! I was wondering if the table for the scores is also needed when receiving the reading and listening scores right after you finish the toefl ibt test? I mean, the scores I get after finishing the test, are raw points that have to be converted? or they are already converted to be out of 30 points? Thank you!

On the real TOEFL iBT test, you don't need to convert the scores. You will see the "unofficial" test score out of 30 for reading and listening sections right after you complete the exam.

In the last question(10) where it says to choose three answers, I always get 2 correct answers out of the three choices so will I get points for them or I only get points if I choose the 3 correct choices?

For questions with two choices, if two choices are correct, award yourself one point. If one of the choices is incorrect, you earn zero points for the given question.

Hey Josh, I just have a question about number 10 in the second passage, since the textbook attached below the video has an explanation on why it is A and B, but does not seem to have an explanation on why the answer is F. Personally, I do not understand why F is a correct answer, and could not possibly find a reason behind this. Could you elaborate or provide another source for me please? Thank you.

Great question. Your thinking is correct. A and B are clear answers. F is not obvious as an answer, but C, D, and E are incorrect due to certain modifiers like, “impossible,” or giving incorrect information. This makes F the only logical choice.

You will see the passage on the screen, but you don't have to read the entire passage first. You can start answering questions immediately.

@@mayuriroy2253Firstly , I did not take the test in 6/1, because I made a delay for me because I am busy . Secondly , I took it today and It was a great experience and the luck played with me at that time , I scored in the reading 23 and the listening 23 as well . Honestly , I did not expect these scores since i had no time for preparation but I got the score that i need . Good luck with your toefl test . Today i believe that the luck is a crucial element when it comes to the toefl ibt test .

7 is totally wrong. The ecosystem's use of plants has not been determined. not the their (of humans) use. Ecosystem is no way the same as humans. the kicker is the plant's position in the environment.

Thank you for asking, by "word" questions I assume you mean vocabulary questions, question #2 in the first passage and question #7 in the second passage are "word" questions, but they ask about phrases, like "as a result" instead of a single word. You can expect vocabulary questions to sometimes be a single word and sometimes be a phrase, it depends on the test you get. I hope that answers your question.

I completely agree with @leaogo1106 - the answer explanations about the question 10 passage 2 in the PDF you provided are not understandable : it makes a "main idea" of an example or consider that an answer is correct because it refers to something said in the text. An example or only a reference are not really main ideas @@TSTPrep

Thank you for your comment. I agree this question is a little difficult. A, B,F all talk about how telescopes have evolved. B shows how they have gotten mor expensive over time and F is showing how they figured out where to place them. So there is a connection there. Granted it is not very strong but none of the other options make sense.

We do everything possible to make this the same level of difficulty as the actual TOEFL test. We have an in-depth internal process along with experienced curriculum developers. With all that being said, most of the feedback from students is that these are approximately the same level of difficulty or slightly easier than the actual test.
