I have a Corsair all Deadbolt ballistics and currently climbing bounty rep (did mostly industrial stuff before this). At HRTs atm and they can sometimes have decent cargo rewards, if its an i400 etc. I do get odd opponents occasionally, like two Freelancers and just one medium fighter attacking me (lol) - and then the freelancers dont even have cargo loot o___O....anyway, fun gameplay.
Ye it’s really random the loot atm. But if you like ship combat it’s the best gameplay type at the moment. The illegal bounties give much better loot but much more risky and large crime stats to deal with. Once the Comm arrays are working properly, that will be really fun 👍
Decoupled mode allows you to Drift. Aim below a ship and boost at them then pull up and I'll keep move towards them and not slow down . So u can drift behind other and then stay on their back end.
Start the bounty hunter missions as the rep takes a few weeks to get to ERTs so you will have plenty of practice in the ship by the time you get to ERT. 👍
I am enjoying the commentary, humour, the cuts and relative conciseness. Now talking about other videos as well. I would like to see some more variety. Do not get me wrong, ERTs are fun to watch, but seeing your format applied to ship discussion/demonstration and other missions or events was refreshing as it seems other SC content is rather bloated with "fillers".
Thanks for the positive comments 👍 I have done some other videos on missions such as distribution centers, 890 jump mission, bunkers missions & raids on derelict outposts.. only issue is they take a lot of work and I hardly get any views on them. I post videos because I enjoy the game so much and any videos I do are usually when I’ve had a really fun night in the verse. So they can be on anything that me and my Org mates are doing at the time. I am committed to covering as much of the game as I can, as and when I play that particular game loop and to show people how amazing the game is and will be as we get closer to a release. There is no other game that is this immersive with a world that feels like you’re actually there. Thanks for your feedback and I will try to do a few videos of the things you mention. I am very new to this kind of video with commentary etc but I keep trying to make the videos more interesting. I always like to post when I get a better reward from an ERT than previous missions. Just to keep people updated as to what kind of rewards the missions are dropping in whichever patch we’re in. The next vid coming soon is an ERT one.. but after that I have been flying some rare ships that an Org friends has been loaning me, so I feel like a want to do a video about them soon. For decoupled mode it's fine to only use it in combat, it basically lets you drift so you can keep your nose on target while moving quickly around a target, it's most noticeable on fighters. Also you might check out Ballistic weapons I've been running full deadbolts on my Taurus and it just melts everything, and you can keep your shields at full power to get the extra damage resistance with no penalty to your weapons.
Thanks for the info 👍 I have 2 Corsairs, one with laser canons and one with Ballistics. It just turns out that the ERTs I get the big loot in is mostly when I have the laser cannons ship out 😂

Not seen these huge amounts in recent patches but I did get 4.6mill last night from an 890 Jump in an ERT. So there is still some big paydays out in the verse 👍

@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi Yes, current patch. It was on a Vaughn 45k mission. I’ve seen 99 scu on a 37k Vaughn mission. Pro tip: fisticuffs only get you a CS1
@@ughitsvictor yah to be fair I almost like having max components paired with 4 lazer cannons and 2 Gatling on the wings for hull dg while taking out shield might be slightly faster kill times on larger ships, small ones just get popped by the 4 main guns no matter what type
I did 6 ERT missions solo this weekend and only came out with 4scu of quant and 2scu weevil eggs. You guys made a great find though. I just wish they didn’t nerf things into the ground like they do
@@Jarvis_aka_UgunnH8This it’s terrible. Yesterday i got a crime stat while in the middle of an ERT legal bounty because i wouldn’t stop to be scanned. Then after soloing two connies a corsair and an 890 i get nothing for it.
@@Muggled1990 try the unverified Vaughn mission they give alot I get like 5scu of weevil eggs each mission and it is not like the maximum level even tho you will get a crimstat it is good
@@samerandzainandtherockets3053 i have, comm arrays are broken and so is spk. I get at most 3-5 of eggs and then bounty hunters show up. So i get nothing anyways. Also that 3-5 is on one mission the rest dont spawn anything for a few days.
Not a bad haul, Neon is good in bulk like this with a c2 but if that was eggs oooh man I would have said when they rebuff the loot table cause you only see about 30 SCU at most of eggs now in a a2,c2,m2 or 890
Go to 8 minutes 5 seconds you pickup up a big box which was on top for you but really the bottom since 890 upside down and one huge box fell into the 890
@@bryanmoore1293 illegal ones are paying much higher than erts, I’ve done over like 100legal erts this patch and highest I’ve gotten is 24 eggs in a c2 illegal I’ve gotta a ton from much smaller ships but jail time sucks
There are lots of Orgs to join and everyone is doing these missions when they are available 👍 I’m in ADI Org which is great, lots of nice people and always groups to get involved with 👍
Sometimes from underneath where the cargo doors are and sometimes from the captain seat with open all exterior doors keybind, which you have to set in keybinds 👍
Thanks for the great video! I am a pretty new player to SC and finally managed to procure a Drake Corsair. I have not tried space combat bounty hunting missions yet, all my combat experience has been planetside on foot, which is what I enjoy the most. But I definitely want to get into the space combat gameplay loop, especially if there is potential for loot like this! But my problem is two fold: 1) I have minimal to zero space combat experience. I have watched some tutorial videos so I do have basic knowledge of space combat but little hands-on experience 2) I have little to no rep/progression so no access to ERTs for quite a while. Would it be possible for me to join your org? If so, how do I go about that?
Hey 👋 yes you are welcome to join our org. Visit the ADI star citizen forum page and it will instruct you how to join. It’s very simple and I was gaming with the Org in no time. Like 20minutes from wanting to join 😂 Then we can group up and ERT on coms. Always people playing most nights. Once you group with someone who has the rep you can do ERTs straight away 👍 Most difficult thing about space combat is not colliding with other ships, then powering to weapons with F5 and powering to shields with F7 is quite important but apart from that you will be all good 👍
I’m using the M7As too and do also hard kill the ships sometimes. However the repeaters are really bad this patch so I’m gonna stick with the cannons. What ship you using?
@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi I use a Taurus as well, I got the advice to just max shield triangle mid fight and switch one cannon to the right mouse fire group so I can soft death once their shields go down
@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi just keep in mind you’ll probably have to do it near the end of each bounty cos it resets every time you go in nav or qt, but it’s pretty easy you just click one button on the mfd
If you had the rep in previous patch, you get access almost immediately after doing first bounty certification mission. You still have to build rep again but missions are unlocked.
@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi I've had erts since erts began lol I've had to regrind the whole lot from start I've been redoing it since 3.23 money wipe close to 100 missions still not got it unlocked
Ye fighter ships are harder! But you have to do ERTs for these big ships and not HRTs. I have access to them as I have full rep in the last few patches. Even though I show low rep I still have access to higher missions. Keep grinding till you unlock the certification for ERT bounties or group with someone who has access to them 👍
@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi Oh my now I get it. I thought the "E" stands for "easy" lol. It's extreme. In terms of solo, what ship can you recommend? I'm kinda stuck with by renting an andromeda, as I have pretty low cash.
I use my Corsair + Mirai Pulse for this missions too in asteroid field Yela.. I park with my Corsair ~17km away from target and fly in with the Pulse. If i come near to the ships (~50m) mostly the shield from targets are going off. So i can check with Scan what is inside and open easy the cargo bay (excepted Hammerhead,Corsair). I can destroy with Pulse all weapons from enemey ships. Thats funny, if they begin to move and can´t fire. Only problem is the redeemer , the Pilot is always bugged and i can´t shoot him out of the seat. Pilot stand behind/in the seat. I use this way, because to often i destroy the ships completly, if i attack them with my Corsair ....
how did you grind to get the corsair? the problem i have with this game is finding a way to make enough money to get a big ship like the corsair in order to do these bounties
My pledge is the Taurus so I can do the ERTs in that and then get millions in loot to buy any ship. If you don’t have a powerful enough ship, I would suggest doing the ERTs in a group and then sharing the earnings. Best advice I can give you is to join an Org. Makes the game SOOO much more fun. I’m in ADI currently which are a nice group of people if you want to join an Org 👍
I try the last 3 days ERT mission and the result is disappointing. I think it was ~10 mission and often ships are empty (i open the cargo door) or there is only a few quantanium. No Eggs :-(.
From experience, going to the pilot seat and using the open all doors keybind always works ... what do you do when scanning is broken / won't give you a read out? is there a trick to getting it to work?
Will have a look for you see if I can find one. Once you start bounties, keep your eye on the rep tab and when you get a full bar on each tier there will appear a mission you have to pay for which will be an evaluation mission to unlock the next level of missions 👍
There isn't a right or wrong way to do something of course...but i've found it easier just to sit in the captain's chair and open all doors in ships like the hammerhead, 890j, etc. Also, i don't trust scans and have been rewarded for that a few times.
Ye tried the captains chair open all doors last night and it worked great 👍 And ye the scanner is dodgy hey! But majority of time for me it’s quite accurate when it works! Sometimes the good stuff scrolls of the page in the list of scan results so you don’t see it in list but it’s in ship 👍
Ye they did but it’s starting to get better in latest patches. Since yesterday’s patch first 2 ERTs have been great. 2mill eggs in one and 45 Quant in another 👌👍
Idk how you’re getting missile locks, I’ve been running bounties in my Taurus but whenever I target lock and go into missile mode it’s a nothing burger, no big white circle or anything so I end up jousting and getting rammed 😢
I have had times when I have full missiles and can’t fire any. Usually it goes once I repair or blow up and reclaim the ship but I don’t actually know why it happens. Try some missiles in a different ship and see if they work?

Thanks for your Video. Well done. I got often ERT Mission on Daymer or Cellin. Do you have for me an tip how to handle to get in Yela asteroid field ? Do you Cancel/abandon the mission which are not at Yela ?
No I don’t cancel. If you cancel they don’t seem to pop up for a while. You can engage them from distance with missile and then head up out of atmosphere to make planet ones easier. Or wait maybe 10 min for a new one to pop if you abandon planet one. But you might end up with planet one again after, that’s the risk.
I tried it recently, will do a video on different shooting modes soon. But I didn’t really like it as much as I used to. The crosshair just doesn’t track the targets well and I miss a lot of shots. Especially when using ballistics, it wastes a lot of bullets.
First time I'm seeing someone with such low DPI settings on their mouse, or are you playing with a trackball mouse or something? To each his own, not hating here, just curious.
I like it slower for FPS and when looking round the cockpit on the screens and free look. Also have to have it slow when using the tractor beam turret, otherwise it’s just mentally fast trying to load the cargo. I can speed it up on the mouse when I need to but this speed works best for all things I find 👍
