Not saying this was the case here but there is another RU-vidr that dresses as an NPC at different landing zones and waits in the hangars and films to judge take offs and landings. He also waits outside the hangars in a ship and films and judges the take off and landings. He really gives you an idea of just how bad the majority of players are at flying their ships. lol
Hats off to that player disguising themselves as an NPC hangar worker! And remaining in character even after you blew his cover! I wonder if he HAD gained access to the ship, what you would have observed him doing once inside. He would have had a limited window of time as the ship is flying out of port to change out of their disguise and into some more sinister armor and equipment.
You probably didn't have enough of a sample size here. I did two hours of ERT's last night, and grabbed 4 million. It's not better than a Reclaimer, but it's still a valid way to make the money to get one.
Ye I didn’t want the video to go on and on but best I got so far is 1.8mill from an 890 Jump with 14scu Weevil and some slam. Might show that in next vid as it was a mission to get it out of the 890 as it landed upside down on Daymar.
Oh no was it!!! It’s really hard to see on the editing software while talking as it only shows a small screen with the video in 🫣 I can’t believe that guy was hiding on my ship the whole time and I lost them 🫢
I did some testing myself and when I play with Taurus I rarely get Weevil Eggs, but If I play with Corsair or C2 then I get way more Weevil Eggs and large containers of Widow, E'Tam, Slam, Quantanium and Gold. Not sure if ERT loot depends on ship you play(can't see how is this possible) but I still need to do some testing to prove this. If you have C2 or Corsair, you can try to take around 10 ERT and VHRT missions with each ship and see if you have same results as me. You should have more luck then with Taurus. VHRT missions can also be very good...I found 18 scu of quantanium in VHRT mission.
I use a Corsair exclusively, so I can’t speak to any different loot tables based on what ship you bring into the mission. But I see the mission type “code” in the console and it only mentions pve and risk level in the mission type. Also, my intuition doubts it, for all that is worth. With my ship, I am seeing more or less the same amounts and types that you are experiencing. Mostly 32 SCU’s of scrap and iron/ tungsten/ quartz/ copper/ corundum, 2 & 8 SCU’s of altruciatoxin, slightly less widow, many 2SCU’s of titanium, occasionally a smattering of 1&2 SCU e’tam or slam, often one box of quantanium, once some gold, a few times a modest treat of GWE, never ever any more maze.
From my experience I had every few ERTs a very good loottable when flying C2. Best I got where 50scu Weviil eggs on a 890 jump. It also feels like that I got the best loot from 890 jumps in general and in larger numbers. But can be tedious to get out of the ship when on a planet surface
There is a RU-vidr that showed himself getting on ships as a NPC. Thats why i stop at different hangers before i go to my actual hanger. Nice Kamakazi.
Ye I’ve seen quite a few people trying to disguise themselves. Especially at Seraphim Station. I do the hanger thing as well, going to different ones before my actual hanger 👌
Cheeky bugger! Yeah what was once a great game loop doing ERT's and discovering riches in cargo has been literally relegated to the "scrap" heap. Not worth doing these, though I still enjoy the game loop, it is more lucrative doing high risk combat service beacons. Though it gets a little monotonous after a while. It would be great if CIG triggered some loot in those enemy ships to expand on the gameplay. I do see an opportunity though for doing team ERT's with a combat/cargo ship such as the Connie, and a Reclaimer to mop up the Construction Materials afterwards if there are crappy cargo loot containers.
Ye we have started doing exactly that. Peeps are telling me that they are still getting 4-5mill of some ERTs though. So they’re not too badly nerfed. Apparently more loot when you do the mission in bigger ships. Gonna test with an M2 and see for myself 👍
so since he was able to steal the guys ship and was gonna land it at the station and try and sell its okay to pad ram him? Just cause he got the drop on the dude.
@@hornblower677 In theory I'd say yes, technically it was his ship and game mechanics only allowed for a ramming. But I was thinking about game mechanics. If that Guy shot both of them, wouldn't his crime stat have been too high to get a landing pad clearance?. So maybe he rammed somebody with the same paint job. I still find it entertaining.
As far as I can tell, CIG are aiming to make the different gameloop economies pay out about 150-200k/hr as the standard. Big scores (i.e. finding quant during mining, or finding a bounty carrying eggs) will boost that up occasionally. I tried to crunch some numbers on your runs in this video and the potential $ made seemed about on par with that standard. I'm mainly a miner, and the recent changes they've made to mining have incentivized players to start to care more for taking lower-tier loot and not just look for top-tier stuff. I think the same is happening here. There is some $ to be made by taking larger quantities of mundane cargo from these bounties vs. only taking vice and quant. That 890j bounty at the end was carrying a total 2mil worth of cargo (about 1 mil for just the eggs). Even if the other bounties only had about 100k worth on them, a find like THAT boosts the hourly average up considerably. Just a matter of taking the stuff we used to be too good for lol. Quite slow solo but with a friend in a C2 helping with cargo transfer, this is still pretty good money even compared to the new standard CIG seem to be aiming for. Long term I highly doubt any game loop will be paying out millions in minutes anymore. As we approach a more and more complete game, I think CIG wants people to have to work for ships and put the time in rather than being able to afford everything they could possibly want in their first week playing.
@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi i finally got a reclaimer from group missions and getting about 300k a run, but with the reclaimer its crazy, mil is minimum up to 5 even more. Too bad they are going to nerf the reclaimer
yea no need to pad ram him which is disgusting to me and should be punished i approve of piracy which the NPC guy did in his own way but to pad ram the guy because he got the drop on you is fucking disgusting.
Disgusting, wow you have strong feelings. Firstly I didn’t know pad ramming is not allowed.. so won’t do that again… but if it’s a hostile then surely all is fair. He fked me… I fked him… and that’s all folks 😂
WOW, it seems to me that your in game experience is rather limited. He caught you slip'n and your reaction is to pad ram. So since your obviously overreacting to a event in an online multiplayer game, let me give you my observations/advice: 1st) Most people learn the quickest way to get ride of chat is F12, this is bad as you then don't have other important channels, like vehicle ,party and other custom channels you might have. My advice here is to press F11 and in the global chat settings, toggle the setting "send to visor" off 2nd) When you started your fire fight you only had 16 bullets in the magazine, Always reload all your weapons. 3rd) You did not press charges against their actions against you, On your HUD you had the message displayed and you either need to confirm charges with "[" or deny with "]". 4th) Since they might have tried to contact you over VoIP or other channels, you probably could have had a different experience. Maybe they would have ransomed you, maybe another plan. Anyway the point here is that you can have game play loops that are entirely player created. 5th) At the station since they did not have Crime Stat they were blue, only after the game registered that, within the last 5 minutes they attacked you, they turned red for you only. If you then engaged the player, they could have pressed charges against you. 6th) The ship was heading for the open pads at the station and you could have just gotten back into it most probably. 7th) The pad ram in an armistice zone is actually a ban-able offense, be very careful and read the posts on spectrum related to ban-able offenses. All in all good video, just be mindful of your situation as it may not be as it seems when the adrenaline is running and the pressure is on. o7 Fly safe!
Yes I am very used to doing my own missions and never really had some random guy gank me. So in the heat of the moment, this is what happened. Never knew there were rules to how you can act in a sandbox. I thought you can just do what you want without rules or punishments. I know how to check if I have a stowaway now so hopefully I can avoid this in the future 👍 Thanks for all the tips 👌
@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi so how do you check for stowaways now ? Other than clearing your ship the hard way. Apparently CIG took away the ability for you to be notified of an intruder on your ship. You used to be given a notification that somebody’s has joined your ships channel, and see them in the ships party channel. Not anymore. Ever since the patch that added ship trespass they removed any ability for you to be notified of an intruder. Clearing the ship before you takeoff is not practical because for every minute you stay on the pad you’re more likely to have an intruder glitch through your ship.
