Am I missing something here, a boat that can use electric to produce Hydrogen for a hydrogen fuel cell which then changes it back to electric to power the boat. Now explain why the hell we needed the hydrogen, we started with electric went thru a process to simply change it back to electric, to me that sounds pretty pointless🤷🏻♂️
Yea, let's not get "too technical" (2:26). Let's not look at pesky things like the efficiency loss due to this wireless charging compared to plug-in charging.
Wow that's amazing, a superyacht that requires hooking up to a substation to generate it's fuel and the power requirements of a small town to power that. The environ-mental-ists just got into the superyacht dick-measuring contest.
So I think it’s a good start, but the problem is, it’s a concept car, not a single one in production. So we don’t have specific specs on the range, because I don’t think 119 miles of range is going to cut it, and I think the video got that wrong by the way. So until they actually produce this thing, it’s just a concept car, nothing to get excited about, and Tesla is not looking in the rearview mirror, because if this is the best that 2 of the largest high-tech companies in the world can produce, then what does that say about the legacy OEM’s EV’s that are failing to sell? So the transition to EV‘s is going to be, very, very, painful, and everyone of these legacy OEM’s will need more collaboration/mergers/bankruptcies before this is all over with! So Tesla is still the dominant EV maker in the world for a plethora of reasons, but just as important as their cutting edge/innovative technologies, is its growth, and so they have sacrificed margins in order to gain market share, and it’s working, because the cars are getting less expensive to produce, and their factories are expanding while the other guys are seemingly standing still, and they’re literally closing factories, and not opening new ones. So going forward, it’s not gonna be enough to just copy what Tesla is doing, you will have to outcompete them in every aspect of the business, and I don’t see that happening anytime soon, certainly not if this is the best that 2 of the largest high-tech companies can come up with.
A solar/hydrogen fuel cell yacht has some interesting possibilities. Rather than go into a marina to top off with diesel, you can just hook up to shore power and use the electricity to produce hydrogen. Granted, it will take way longer than at the pump, but it is an option.
Yes, I could see that as an option for cloudy days, however they did not mention if they are storing hydrogen as a gas or hydride or details about the electric engine?. Storing Hydrogen as a Hydride (MgH2) has a greater capacity and is safer.
I don't see anything special about this car. It looks bland and the abundant displays would get boring once you get used to them. I'd rather have a dependable car that can go further than 119 miles.
Cost to charge ? How far can you travel on a charge ? How long does it take to charge ? How many charges will the battery get ? How much does it cost to replace the battery ? How cold or hot can the battery get ? How many miles do you get with heater on ? How many miles do you get after a hlad hr charge?
Byd you could add best you drive as well as build your dreams. Chinese have a record with I T after all they introduced the abbacuss first start of thinking into computers.
They will be loading cylinders initially but the Eco explorer expt vessel generates kts own hydrogen from seawater.. via solar and a fuel cell technology... Though Hydrogen ICE motors are being built they still have issues.

Answer : behold , now you will be able to produce onboard and feed for fuel to electric generator direct connect & trickle to storage to not only extend but allow you to travel at a faster cruise speed . Tech is moving fast and my best speculation has your water maker to supply as the solar array is the backbone needed to begin the process to separate H2O Just know that minds are working on it. VERY MISLEADING HEADLINE !! NO, it hasn't happened yet and hasn't hit the market, otherwise Tesla would be at the forefront of adoption of solid state batteries. Try and be more truthful in future videos. Your outright lies are not welcome here.
