At the first house, I owned back in the 80s. I had praying mantises that would sit on my plants and this one time I started feeding this one big praying mantis that would look at me every morning when I came in chauffeur about two months every morning, I would go find a worm for my praying mantis and I would give it to her or him she disappeared at the beginning of September I never saw her again.
I have an enormous grass spider in a bush in my yard, I go check on him every day and take pictures of him. I love them so much, my yard is full of them cuz I'm too lazy to clean it up lol
when i was little, i was reading a nonfiction book about various spiders. the only one that freaked me out at the time was the jumping spider bc they just look so smart and feeling like it was looking into my eyes from the page freaked my lil autistic brain out. but they eventually grew to be some of my favorites bc of how smart they seem and how they make eye contact
*_Mom & dad are pretty good about caring for their little fledge. I have 1 in my yard right now. It’s fenced in & safe from stray predators at least. We’re in the middle of a hurricane & he kept flipping, so I did place him on my tire, tucked in the wheel well. Mom & dad still came to feed him. Crazy winds, rain & all._* 🥹👍❤️
I have my very own female jumping spider I named her Bobbie, she super friendly and 🥰 it’s my first time having a pet spider she’s still a baby I can’t take my eyes off her she’s so cute. How often do you feed your jumping spider ? she looks like your female jumping spider but very tiny. How often do you feed her?
