Enjoying the human experience & helping others relax with video games.
Cat mom, 90s kid, pansexual, veteran, midwestern millennial. I like games with space, nature, puzzles, metroidvanias, mysteries, beautiful scenery, & memorable music.
My playthroughs are all hint-free & spoiler-free. That means no tips, help, or game info from chat - not even basic mechanics. Enjoy the struggle, & the triumph!
I'm randomly watching outerwild videos. First one i got a skipper with no awareness. Yesterday i got dumb youtuber Today a normal one but an overthinker 😅😅😅
I feel like we have the same story with both our age, interests, & possibly even military background. But I am asexual, and despite my orientation, I commend you on sharing your story. Thank you and I admire all your work on content creation.
The instruction booklet for the original Metroid told you that ice beam + 5 missiles would kill a metroid :P It was never intended to be that cryptic lol
Just watched the first two parts of your vod to see how you were enjoying La Mulana. Good stuff. Hats off to your strength in finding your own approach for your playthrough (and not making it easy on yourself), to your good humor and attitude, and to your chat for their restraint and cheer!!! I too whooped and lamented at times. The best moments were when you deliberately reexamined your past movements or assumptions, when dominoes started cascading in your head after discovering something, and of course the gratification of finding out new things and joy in taking inventory and records of them. Congratulations!
In Scene 4, the Mermaid bar, "Ash Blair"'s letter isn't about him being partnered up with a company. It is coded. Reflect it's values is to drive in how important the next rules are. Never be late, the client (read target) leaves the port on the 10th, so after that he's out of range. The theft MUST be done before then. Be persuasive, we must get the client's product means no matter what they want the item. Be effective, deliver it to me immediately is a reminder that no diversions should be taken on the way back. After all, somebody else might try to intercept. Be mindful of our reputation. Don't let the people link our names to a possible crime. This is why David chose the name Ash Blair.
Have you ever played Cave Story Jen? It's a bit random but I recently replayed it and I remembered how much I love this game. It's right up your alley too. And most importantly it's free! It's an absolute classic in the indie gaming sphere.
Just discovered your channel, you seem like a warm and genuine person. Excited to watch your playthrough. Just finished it myself, and I gotta say, it's the both the best metroidvania and the best indie game I've played since Hollow Knight. Cheers!
So excited for this playthrough! I struggle with puzzle games but I really want to experience this game so I am glad I get to watch you play through it
Love your let's play. A little tip, for these older games, you seem to be hesitant to click on things. Just because he says 'no' you may have misclicked by a pixel. Don't be afraid to try anything with everything! Looking forward to watching the rest of the playthrough!
Accessing the Ash Twin core was the very last thing I figured out in Outer Wilds. I had to sit and read through the entire ship log to piece together the clues. I was in total shock when I finally got it to work 😂😂
For people who have played the game through and know it well, the moment you are looking for starts at 2:40:00. If you haven't played the game, GO PLAY IT.
I can't believe you got into the Giants Deep core without going to see Feldspar first. Even after I got the hint from Feldspar, it took me a while to figure out I could hide inside the jelly. Nicely done!
