See if you can get "crazy mcgrady" aka dyno queen to race ya from a dig...... Dude is the equal of a honda in the vette world, soooo much power but can't break the 10's🤦♂️
Man, to think of what this car has evolved into over the years is wild. It’s been awesome to see the car grow into something most would probably never have guessed it would be, considering the stick shift respect it had back in the day. This car is a legend. Glad to see it kicking ass 💪🏾
Congrats on the 7 that is flying! I love that this car still has full interior, A/C, stock cube 5.3, and factory ECU. Super impressive. What specs do you align the rear suspension to in order to cut a 1.24 60’ ?
Thanks ! It’s plenty fast for me that’s for sure haha , I’d love to have all the fancy bells and whistles but it’s not in my budget or many others so I’m happy to show that it can be done without the best of the best everything 🍻 Alignment is just zeroed out and we apply some pressure to simulate some squat while the rear gets zeroed out and of course the th400 helps a ton
I’ve been slacking ! Definitely going to try to upload more often , I always say that but this time I mean it haha , probably won’t be a ton of Mexico content … but I will have more race track content for sure !
@@mikefew4232 hoping to finally get my motor back in the next 2 weeks or so , been a long wait 😩 engine guy is backed up like everyone else , soon as I get that damn motor I plan to shoot an assembly video and then straight to the track !
@@TheBullyC5Z yeah !! Daaaamn man that’s crazy I swear I remember that shit this car stood out big time. I’m glad to see it’s still out here. 2K was so much better back in those days ..
This will be very upsetting to a lot of 5.bros that think Coyotes are the only engine that can run tons of boost on a stock bottom end. For real though, I’m a LS/LT guy but those Yotes do like the boost better and can take a bit more on a stock engine compared to a LT1, Chevy should have built LT1s like a LT4-LT5 internally.
Hey brotha, you completely inspired me to get a c5z like yours. I would like to replicate your first build with the ls3 stroker. Would you be willing to give me the run down on the build, like pistons-rod combo? Cams-intake? Anyways, I appreciate your videos. Thanks
Love your set-up. Where's your trans cooler located? Also, where's your radiator and which radiator are you running? (I've been working on trying to figure out how to make my c5z more streetable--it has a rpm powerglide and 9", so any info you can share would be helpful.)
I have an LS swapped E46 running a TH350 with .373's and on my stock wheels 19" rolling diameter I'm spinning 3200 rpm's at 60 mph. I know I need a bigger tire but hearing your RPM's are low 2000's at 70mph is definitely making me look at putting .315's in.
I get what you’re saying w/ the manual vs auto trans thing…I have a 850whp C5Z that’s A&A supercharged/cammed/forged/meth w/ a carbon torque tube, a stage 2 diff, & (most importantly) an ECS trans/diff cage- if you can believe it I’m on stock T56 trans hooked to a McLeod RXT twin disc good for 1200whp, I think I’m going w/ a sequential trans tho- best of both worlds!!!!!!
