Beats radio today with free radio! Remember the days of broadcasting where they went off the air at a certain time until the next day! Vaguely recall the radio serials - even listening to years later. Very interesting to listen to the information just like they did back in those days! Listened a second time! Thanks for posting!
One of the best, full of facts, with images & music. Hope brian approved. ❤never cared for Mike. Never will bc of his❤of$$$, & jealousy, deep need for attention.

Wow what a wonderful bio! I have tears in my eyes! Linda wasn't really in the "soundtrack of my life". During the seventies she was too mainstream for me (although I liked a lot of her singing) and in the eighties she sang not exactly the genres I like. But these days I listen to almost all kinds of music and quality is what makes it for me. And Linda's singing is just superb in every genre! Thank you Linda and I hope you are doing well by just being and singing in your head! Love!
Sadly, Melinda died at the end of January (2024), and shortly thereafter was an application submitted for conservatorship. Obviously, as he heads towards his 82 birthday, time is catching up with Brian. The man saved my live 48 years ago when I truly discovered the beauty within his music, and surely his soul. Thank you, Brian. Love and Mercy! <3
I live about 45 min north of Lake City, Tennessee. Proud that Dean is one of the GREATEST songwriters ever! I lived through those times, traveled through his home town so many times I can’t count. After the military, I hauled coal from the mountains surrounding his hometown. It’s all different now, but with all the coal around, the greatest GEM from Lake City Tennessee is Dean Dillon!❤ Ronnie Oneida, Tennessee
Thankyou Everybody for the comments about Tex Morton. He was as good and should be remembered as much as Slim, Chad, Buddy and any of the originator's of Australian/NZ Country Music. Sadly, Tex Morton gets forgotten a lot, and even more, so much of his wonderful music post Regal Zonophone, remains unavailable to purchase or listen to. I'm not an expert on Tex, just a fan, so please, anything you guys can post and contribute to here is very much appreciated. Long live Tex!
it was sad at the end when Tex was reciting "You'll never be missed", he looked like he knew he wasn't going to see Tamworth crow again. the way how the other singers spoke so affectionately of him at the end adds further poignancy.
It needed to be made out of Hollywood to rule out the silly view of Germany that its war films portrait. To this day no other WW2 film comes close to the real deal. A jewel no doubt.
I hope Mike Love produces and directs a Beach Boys biopic from his perspective one day, before he sadly passes away. It would be pure movie gold in more ways than one, that’s for sure 😂
No worries :) The DVD was only available as an independent release and as far as I know, only sold at the Tamworth Big Golden Guitar Music/Tourist Shop some 20 years ago! That's where I got my copy. I'm glad RU-vid can allow people to see a program that would otherwise be near impossible to find :)
@@joshpullen4505 Sorry mate, my copy is in storage and in another town at the moment. I was just fortunate to rip a copy to my hard drive before moving. Perhaps at a later time :)
