Born in Dallas of undocumented Mexican immigrants, Trinidad Lopez III fought his way out of the ghetto with a guitar to become a true American rock and roll legend, one of the first Latino rock stars.
I likes majority of his songs.. Cuendo, rosita,if i had a hammer , americcaa..among famous n loves to listen them nth time.. Raaam from hyderabad, telangana, India.
Sad at the end. I was introduced to Trini’s music at a young age listening to it on dad’s reel-to-reel.as fate would have it I dealt blackjack at the original mgm grand hotel in Las Vegas w/geno Riggio who was Trini’s drummer in his touring band and recording band . Geno was also the drummer for the “Kelly Four”out of Hollywood who backed and recorded w/eddie Cochran before he got the gig w/trini. I adored geno,he had such a big heart and later when I had my own guitar and amp shop we had him come down for lunch . He brought his scrapbook and regaled us w/tales of life on the road w/trini and Eddie. It was a great day.geno and I were friends until he passed in 2018. I’m blessed to have crossed paths with him and had him in my life.
Excellent!. My first viewing, tonite on the home pc. I know, I'll be back to view & listen to it, over time again & again.I've been a fan & follower of Trini Lopez, since receiving my 1st LP in July of 1971
