I also have a LS1/t56 RX7.... There is nothing like it, you make supercars scared. It's insanely fast. But to be honest, I see a lot of people that do not understand how to pick the right parts so everything goes together and works together. Too many people just pick expensive parts from a catalogue and expect magic to happen. I assure you, this guy in the video does not know how to build a car right based off of the axels he used. This shows he is not "In-the-know". Come see my RX7 and you'll say a prayer as soon as you feel it go. There's a reason why some racing series have banned LS swapped RX7's, they are in a league of their own. LS engines can be top-end orientated. The LS swapped RX7 is already gone and pulling harder by the time a high HP 13b spools up.
This is awful. As someone who has been scammed along these lines several times with cars, comic books, renting my home…I can identify. Evil is a real thing.
What a beaut! One of the best examples of what I feel is the pinnacle of Porsche 911. So much tasteful Goldilocks detail:, Color matched seat backs! Inspired to load up on ramen and get me one of them. Thanks for sharing.
my dad had one ge got for like 500 and worked really good but he got in an accident with it so he junked it. The car was very nice something about it made you feel like it has something different and I think its with a lot of older cars aswell.
I got scammed similar to your story. This guy attitude is exactly the same as the guy I dealt with. 1.5 yrs, he had my car, mr2 kswap and other things, paid a lot of money upfront and some extra. In the end I got the car back incomplete and damaged. So many excuses, but he was recommended by spyder community. Sucks that happened to you.
Uuugh 😫 I also got scammed by him. I actually just found your video as I was looking online to try to find an address for him so that I could serve him papers to go to small claims court. It’s really unfortunate. I’m a single mother on one income and really didn’t have the money to spend on repairs, but I had to get my vehicle fixed so I spent the money I really didn’t have, and surprise…. He didn’t fix anything. I needed brakes so he did some work on my brakes, charged me $350 and gave me a quote on fixing an oil leak too. My brakes still were not working after he “fixed them” so I called him to fix it and he was at Disneyland. When he came back he said that my brakes needed additional parts and quoted me on getting them done and fixing my oil leak. I was very clear and asked him to be absolutely sure that he knew that this time the brakes would be fixed and no more work would be needed on them. He assured me that after replacing all of these parts they would work perfectly. So I paid him another $800 to do the breaks and fix the oil leak. Unfortunately my brakes are still not working and it is still leaking oil. I texted him to come fix it and he sends me a text saying that he closed his business down and is employed elsewhere so doesn’t have time to come fix it. I asked when he will have the time and if he has the intention of fixing it and he is completely ghosting me. He has no intention of fixing it or refunding any of my money. He took $1150 from me and nothing on my car is fixed. So now I’m out $1150 and still have a broken car. If you have an address can you please send it to me because I will be filing a claim in court. I really hope that you do to! It’s pretty terrible.
Just got back from taking it in to a legit shop. They confirmed that he didn’t actually change any of the parts that he said he had. So all of the money for parts and repairs was just a scam. The more I look into him the more I find that he’s done this to many people.
People that buy Teslas are gullible rich people that drive around their wealthy small towns all day long. They're not made for the average person that spends time in gridlock traffic and commutes at least 100 miles a day.
People are acting like AE86 is a Ferrari or Porsche. It isn't, its a Poor Man's Drift Car. It could easily be driven by your Grandma. What makes it so special is that its Iconic, that and its an affordable rear wheel drive car. Obviously initial D made it an Icon. Nissan GTR or Toyota Supra are far superior cars. The AE86 wasn't meant to he a Sports Car. It was meant to he a daily driver. Something Dad drives to work everyday and beats it up and not care. If it wasn't rear wheel drive, no one would give any thoughts of this Toyota Corolla.
Didn't take long before Tesla became the Ford Taurus of the road. It's kind of refreshing to see drivers being proud of dorky vehicles, rather than snobby. Just wondering how long until they realize the irony.
Man this is so frustrating. Guys like this screw up honest small shops. I'm in the Portland area. I work on people's cars to help them out because of people like this. What an absolute load of garbage! I'm sorry! I hope someone can help you out! 😊
if you want the nice interior you have to find cream color interior car...basically the only places its not suede or leather is the kick panels. mine is cream and carbon and it's nice yes not Audi level nice but top trim car for sure.
Im not happy this happened to you , but am always happy to hear scammers get called out. I don't care about peoples intentions when it comes to my money.
