Hi, for some reason I am unable to change the picture quality (its greyed out) option on this camera, not from NVR and when directly logged into the camera. How could I make this option selectable? Is it related to the constant bitrate setting? thanks
These Colorview cameras at night time have a flaw in the firmware they don't do intrusion detection or line crossing notifications at night - it just does not work. Thank you for the review it was very good. Human detection seems to not be able to detect at night time, must be how it detects, ie face detection to make human detection
These Colorview cameras at night time have a flaw in the firmware they don't do intrusion detection or line crossing notifications at night - it just does not work. Excellent video by the way
@@AxellFolley yes at night it is almost not active at all, there seems to be a firmware bug, it is important to note these live guard cameras the reason that they are purchased is for the light and siren motion detection just does not provide that
Any of the latest NVR's running V5 firmware such as the 7604NI-M14P4 would be the go. (DVR's were used in the 1980's and are still used today where systems have been wired in coax...)
Thanks for the great video, all these settings can we configured through the nvr as well right? It is possible to have the "light" turn on (not flash) when crossing the line, so I have illumination of the driveway?
Great explanation but is this only a microphone to Hik app NOT 2 Way that even real cheap cameras have? It has lots of leads attached so I suspect one is for power a speaker and alarms? Great camera otherwise cheers.
@@MustAccord I actually got 2 Way working There is a mic symbol on right hand side of LIVE VIEW to send audio as long as the voice alarm is working. It took me 3 default reboots to work it out plus don't have more than one smart rule too
Can you please do a tutorial on how to arm live guard cameras with the Ax pro remote, I'm sure you've mentioned its possible in a previous video but scouring the internet has returned no results. I'd love to arm all my defenses with one push of a button rather than jumping through the app!
Larger aperture and bigger sensor on the non hybrid version… is the low light performance noticeably different? I’m leaning toward the non hybrid for this reason…
Hi Matt, i notice in the Hik Pro 6 App top left corner there is a SOS red button, it opens and says Panic Alarm, but nothing happens when you push either button. How do we config this plz. KInd Regards Al.
Hi, love you simple directions. Naturally, one doesn't regularly play around configurations in the system, so it's easy to forget basics (especially as one gets old😏). So, to my questions; can you please provide an easy step by step instruction on 1) how to add another mobile phone, iPad, PC or smart TV once downloaded the app and 2) how do I review footage of security cameras on the monitor attached to the DVR (is it the same as NVR?)? I have been able to playback the footage on both my iPad and mobile phone, but not the DVR. Can you please assist? Thank you, Frank
You are a savior man it worked like a charm! You saved me from paying 50$ to the technician just for visit only! and who knows how much he will ask for the configuration, which I'm sure is not less than 30$.
