I was a teen and young adult then, and yes it was an awesome blip in time. Aside from all of the dope stuff in the pop culture, it was the final era of somewhat living in the moment. I wonder what will define the youth of today when they look back at their own coming of age? All the time spent looking at Tiktok videos? Why does the modern day feel like the end of history, in terms of culture? Everyone is nostalgic for the past, and the present has no definition or meaning of it's own.

It reminds me the days with my older cousins when i was a kid... surrounded by their friends, playing with them. Watching my cousins playing games like Need for speed, final fantasy, Kingdom hearts, Metal gear, god of war or crash bandicoot. Sometime we used to watch dragonball Z together. I don't have an older brother but them... they are like older brothers to me.
My siblings were like that one Nintendo commercial. They would knock on my door cause they heard me rocking out on Guitar Hero and were like: wii would like to play. And then they would from 2005-2009 and then resorted to Rock Band for a few years more 😂 I won't lie, I wasn't the best big brother growing up but I want to think that I turned things around just in time for them to still look up to me when they were younger. They're all married now and have lives of their own while I sit here trying to figure out what my own life is going to be, but i'm so proud of all of them and i'm glad we still keep in touch and are civil to one another.
Even though I grew up more in the 2010s, I do feel nostalgia for this. Honestly I want to integrate this into the personalities of two of my characters.
@keifer7813 Oh, I forgot to say, I have Autism so it's a bit harder for me to understand right away that you'd have to be very specific or get straight to the point. To me, you guys made it seem like only white people experienced this. Also, I don't like seeing the differences between us like with race, if I see more a skin color doing this, it doesn't matter to me, I'm just like, a lot of people do this or that, I'm not like, a lot of white people do this or that, I do see things that way, that's how stereotypes start and stuff.
