I’ve been in my little 350 square-foot studio for 2 1/2 years now, and I’ve just accumulated way too much stuff for this space 😅 I get so mad every time I open a cabinet to get some thing out and 10 other things fall out with it, lol. Great video!
Omg I just passed you walking your dog Louie as I was watching this video. You had AirPods in so you didn’t hear me lol and I didn’t want to make it weird. I’m visiting Chicago for Beyond Wanderland. This may be weird after the fact but hi 👋🏾
The rightwing media likes to vilify any region of the country/city that isn’t in RED states. People need to decide for themselves, but I’ve found Chicago to be an extremely vibrant (unlike many Southern cities, that pretty much close up after working people return to the suburbs), and surprisingly, Chicago is quite affordable. Winter’s😅can get chilly during some weeks in the Winter, but personally, I’ll take that over the 90F+ and 90% humidity you find in all of Florida’s cities, and pretty much all of Texas…and in Arizona, it gets to well over 100F. So, if you’re old, yea, you might like Florida better…but prefer Chicago’s weather and nightlife far more than most Southern cities, including those in Arizona.
Wow I’m stunned you judged Giordano’s deep dish pizza because I’ve had it vast times in my life, and it is a delicious deep dish pizza which is made with the best cheese from Wisconsin and other premium ingredients.
I'm super hyped for the winter actually. I know people worry about it, but in north Carolina I feel like I haven't seen real winter in forever. I am excited to move there later in the year, still looking at where, but somewhere in the core.
I live in east Logan right by Bucktown (Armitage and Western area) and I love it! We bought our condo there in 2017 and it is so nice!! Great lifestyle and close to the train. So many fun things to do and walk around, convenient grocery stores.... everything we need! LOVE
So glad you made this one with a complete overview. You guys did a great job with it. In love with the green backslash, chef's kiss 🤌. Hope the move goes well.
I've been around the country and choose to live in Chicago. I live within walking distance of Navy Pier, the lakefront and two beaches, the Riverwalk, Millennium Park, the Art Institute, The Museum of Contemporary Art, and Michigan Ave. It's great and we take advantage of these amenities and lots of excellent restaurants.
That may be true in much of the U.S. We're a very mobile society, especially between the ages of 18 and 45 (where Ms. Button fits). According to the Census Bureau, the typical American moves 11.7 times in a lifetime. Friends disappear.
Chicago summers are the BEST. Everyone comes out of hibernation from Winter and False Spring and there is definitely an energy / mood. Everyone is excited to be out doing stuff. The food in Chicago is lowkey probably some of the best in the country. Slept on for sure.
I know Chicago has amazing public transit but how do you make it work being a realtor without a car? Leave very early? What if you have multiple homes to show one client?
You can have a gallery wall and have the retractable projection screen can come out a few inches from the wall when you pull it down and when you let it up you see the gallery wall. All ❤️
I sincerely appreciate your content, especially due to me being severely homesick. Your videos have kept me in tune with new and hot restaurants, as well as the condo scene back home. I have to give a shout out to Alex as well because his camera work and editing are on point. It gives the videos a very personal and entertaining feel. Keep doing your thing and evolving brother.
I think the Wilson stop has a good view too, not as good as Chinatown probably, but I always find myself admiring the Sears tower while waiting at Wilson during sunsets.
Bravo Alex, great filming throughout, very cinematic! Loved the seagull flying across the ball shaped fireworks burst. Also those dusk shots of Chinatown & the buildings. Most of all, Lou Lou❤
