An apartment’s view is really, REALLY important, yet your videographer zips past the windows as if they were blank walls to be gotten past as quickly as possible. I suggest that he pause for a good two seconds of SLOW scan per window, instead of racing past them. Views are a crucial feature to any serious apartment-hunter.
Definitely #2 that's next to the Jewel at Division/Clark. West Loop and Fulton are boring/stale neighborhoods. The #1 South Loop if it's straight budget.
Chicago is so expensive I been looking for an apartment and everything I find around my budget they ask for people to make 3x the rent it was so much easier to find apartments back in the good old days. And not many are pet friendly. 😢
Hi Caira, thanks for the video! I spontaneously decided to move to Chicago after watching your videos just a couple of days back. Plan to move in 2 weeks. Anyway, could you please advise what are the rental criteria usually, in your experience, like, for example, that salary should be 2.5x or 3x the rent, things like that. And what is usually included and not included from utilities, meaning to understand how much more to put in budget for internet, water, sewer, trash, etc. Thanks again!
I think the 1rst one is the best budget wise apartment with space for the $, yet that 3rd one has that combination of both…laundry differential I’m looking to move soon are there any good studios ranging 1,200-1,500 in close to downtown area; I work @ Clinton & Vanburan
Hi Caira, I asked on another video but will post again here. Now that you are a licensed broker, do you prefer working with leases/rentals or home sales? And why?
