I'm not a professional, but I've had success extracting hair from my family member's bald spots. Her hair grew back full & the tingling sensations in the scalp stopped. It's strange what can cause alopecia.
@@Keana-gd1pz a little research and process of elimination early in the hair loss stage, along with consistency, is where it's at when tackling hair loss.
I am mother of two sons, one is toddler and another is infant. I am suffering from this kind of disease in my scalp. I tried so many remedies like neem leaves paste with curd and borax. Shampoo like keto. Etc .. but nothing working for me. I really need to get rid of it .. someone help me
What would you suggest for the temple area Alopecia Areata? I am working on low tension hairstyles, exfoliating the area as well as keeping my hair hydrated with neem oil mixed into my shampoo and the hair is growing but slowly 😭 I just want tips if I can add something positive to my routine to keep with volume
Salicylic acid shampoo after softening the scalp with steam or water will get it off without all that physical exfoliation/scraping. Then there is no risk of bleeding and irritation, which can trigger it to come back even worse. You can have a clean scalp in the morning and look like this by night with a bad flare up. It’s not a fun condition.
Thank you for sharing ❤... I watched a different video of yours seeking knowledge for CCCA...& Im thinking strongly like where do I know this woman from?. I worked with your son yrs ago at SLLIS. Great to see you're doing well & per usual aiding & educating us!!
I have scalp psoriasis and anything that I do to remove it just leaves a very red mark under and it comes back in half a day. The skin forms faster than the rest so the getting it not to grow in is the difficult part. I have been prescribed topical meds that work, but I need to use them every few weeks because it comes back. The only results that I have in general are when I do things like diet changes, no alc or simple carbs etc. It is also backwards for me. I love it in winter because it tightens up. In the summer it gets moist and expands.
As a person with alopecia I believe that it would be more helpful if we stopped the narrative of hair being our identity. I do think some people who are struggling with alopecia to the point of being almost bald should just shave it off or use wigs or weaves if they don't want to be bald in public. Of course whatever they do must be done when they are ready and not at the coercion of others. But it is so freeing when you finally let go and live knowing that you truly are not your hair. Because at the end of the day, with so much craziness happening in the world, hair just should not take up so much space in our lives.
@@angelstar7656 as someone who see's multiple people dealing with hair loss, I can tell you that it is infact a huge part of many people's identity in terms of how they feel about themselves. That's something you can't take away. If something affects your self esteem, it does reflect on who you are as a person. Also, if someone doesn't want their scalp exposed shaving their head isn't going to make it any better or help them come to terms with it.
Hi sisters I think both of u are correct. I would say, if someone is going through any issue they should be open to advice then it s up to them to act upon the advice or reject it; we r human being we like helping others so we tend to give " unsolicited " advice without understanding or knowing the effect that advice would have on the receiver. Overall we do it in good faith trust me, I had alopecia for a while I shaved my whole head , did all sorts of remedies, ate well and added herbals teas in my diet praise the Lord my head was restored, of course each case is different but I still ask others to try what I did u never know it can also help them.
