This Channel is dedicated to my grey grandmother and to share all the knowledge she had and shared with me when I was younger, back in Cuba.

I do a lot of shorts a week and 2 to 5 videos a month.

I leave in Orlando, Florida. My zone is 9b and the weather here is a challenge. I love pushing the zone. I grow a lots vegetables, herbs and fruit trees varieties, that most people will say is not possible.

My love for growing Tropical fruit trees with a sub tropical climate. I want to grow as many tropical fruit trees with the limited space I have. At this moment I have a great collection of mango, sugar apple, star apple, custard apple, loquat, soursop, avocados, sapodilla, mamey and many more.

Also all the mistakes that I make I will share with you so you can do better.

The bugs and diseases we have to face. Crazy Florida weather and more.

Remember gardening 👩‍🌾 is a learning experience. Enjoy the journey and share your knowledge with others so they can be successful.

Yes. I agree. A heavy water with a garden hose is the best first method. The only thing is that if you already have a few mangos on the tree it’s possible that you might knock them down in the process. But other than that it really works.

Thank you for your honesty about having different results with certain varieties. I hear you may have to plant the same tree more than once to get good results. In South Florida you can dig a hole and the tree will do well. Up here is like a science project with possible great results. Lots of work with hopefully sweet reward.

enjoy the cogshalls, mango friends ! i got a box of cogshall last year and the flavor was very mild and not sweet, the brix were averaging 11 and any fruit at 11 brix is not going to be very good , flavor gets hidden and hard to detect well when brix are 11 or lower on all fruit , but just add sugar and the flavor will come out much better , a research paper found that said cogshall averages 11 brix so it was a "normal" box of cogshall, however, i had 1 cogshall from tropical acres that was 15 brix, and it was my favorite mango of the mix box competing with all the "claimed best" mangos , cogshall under the right conditions can produce higher brix readings and most likely those are the ones that people like, the low brix cogshalls are not as popular , the flavor was amazing on a good cog it was classic mango orange citrusy for me, the difference between an 11 brix watermelon and 15 brix watermelon is extreme its almost 40 percent more solids and sugar, so it may not sound like a large number difference but is huge with fruit, some mangos get to 20 and even 35 brix so flavor can be more powerful than even 15 , that is why people talk down on cogs but they probably havent had a good cog yet, ive planted the seeds of the cogs i got and hoping to breed a higher brix cog with same flavor but more power of course , anywho that's my cog story !nice video !

Glenn/Sweet Tart were split for number one. Valencia Pride was next with Tommy clear last. A good Glenn has that classic mango flavor that’s tough to beat sometimes even for a wild one Sweet Tart.
