I just couldn't work with the legguards and the kickers. The legguards wouldn't stay put, the belts kept loosening so I had to tighten them multiple times during the game. And even the video shows how the inside of the kickers keeps popping out from underneath the legguards. The kickers themselves were odd as well, I kept returning a bouncing ball high all the time and I never had that with obo. I really like the gloves and had a tk bodyprotector but I am never ever going for the legguards and kickers. The legguards didn't even make it to a full season. The literally fell apart so I had to fix it with glue and tape. I am so happy my club decided to only use obo legguards from then on. In that one year every one was complaining about them.
The Tk gear I got were all new straight from the box, fact is that it didnt hold up. Tk is a good brand and before that I never had a problem with it. My club had a sponsor deal with Tk so they got a lot of new gear for a smaller price unfortnatly I wasnt the only one who had problems with my legguards, in fact the next year 85% of the goallies got other legguards instead and the year after that no one uses them anymore. My trustee obo's are now entering their fourth year without problems. I did have to replace the kickers though.
+Rosa Groen i used to have the same problem with the legguards, they loosed up in the middle of the game, but I changed the straps, made them my self, and now i feel them good, i use the 2 brands, obo and tk, i think both are great Greetings from Mexico!!!
tk's leggeard on the inside of you're leg are not long enough for my opinion if you turn you're leg slightly to far you'l have it against you leg, i don't like that everything feels so loose obo is more my style sorry
TK was just too big and heavy for me. I prefer OBO because of their products being lighter and thinner but still having great protection. OBO also has way more color choices and their equipment is more comfortable to me.
I personally own a pair of TK 4 leg guards and kickers and they work exceptionally well for me. I like how they are light weight, soft, and how they provide really good rebounds. the only downfall is the straps on the kickers. the straps that go around your foot wear really easily, but if you replace them with obo kicker straps they will work even better.
Good video I prefer OBO personally having tryed out a tk kit earlier in the year I went with OBO in the store. Also I wish I could play like any of these keepers for just one game that would be the best game ever
Wow, this comment really makes no sense at all. Both are good, although they have a diferent design philosophy. The OBO Hi Rebound legguards are actually wider. Concerned about the skills? Both brands are used by top-level goalies
but isnt being a keeper all about making saves? therefore surely the bigger surfaces to make those saves would help. I use the kit the Max uses n this video and it far surpasses all obo kit i have used and i have been playing for some time now using obo, monarch, gryphon and tk, and in the tk1 kit every save i make is like the ball hitting a trampoline, that stuff is bult like a tank and is far more comfortable than obo kit i have used... However it is all down to opinion
you know what I like about this video.. Amy Tran has a smile on her face, every time she is saving the ball.. EVERY time!! its great to see someone doing something they enjoy.. goo on ya Amy! :)
